Manager Review

Natural State Vacation Rentals

Natural State Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.76 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The porch is attached to the actual home owner. I wasn’t told to turn the knob to unlock after putting code in. He had alcohol on him and made some passes at me. He also offered me to come smoke with him and made a pass at my mom. My dad was on the phone with me and was concerned. You also can’t lock the back doors. Only the deadbolt can be locked, but it can also be unlocked from the outside. The place was beautiful. I just felt unsafe”

“The lady was Very rude, there was trash there when we got there. The sheets had stains on them and a weird smell. So many things she wanted us to do to even check out. Definitely wasn’t worth it.”

“We stayed during a softball tournament and other families booked other condos in the same location. All paid same/similar prices. This condo was significantly outdated, under maintained and had less amenities (games, items to use with the facility, etc) as compared to the other condos. This condo also only came with five bath towels and two wash cloths, and when we booked for a full week and it advertises to sleep six, we were doing more laundry than expected on our trip. As far as cleanliness, it was noticeably not well maintained - dirty vents, baseboards, floor rugs that haven’t been washed in ages, dishes that were put away dirty, and bedding that was also dirty upon arrival. We would not book again.”

“First, the place was nice. Corresponding with the owner, not so. In reading the rules prior to arriving, it stated have unit “rental ready.” I have never seen this and questioned her if we’re suppose to have dishes clean, put away…laundry done and clean sheets put back on bed. Her response was “don’t trash it.” Thought this remark was very unprofessional. After staying there one night, noticed the sliding door’s lock didn’t work. There was a bar to put across it but it wasn’t in use until we noticed it. Reported this to owner, her response was that she knew the lock didn’t work but during summer, it’s hard to get a repair man in between renters. I would gladly allow a repair man in for my safety. We had to leave a day early. Did everything we were to do. I notified her of this and she said we shouldn’t have put linens in washer. It leaks. We weren’t told of that and her response was the leak wasn’t big enough to mention. No apology given, just felt like sarcastic reply”

“Kam sent me a bad contract after I already clicked payment, with no prior disclosure of the contract within his listing/house rules. I could’ve been made to pay twice for the same thing according to the poorly written contract, which was not even filled out properly.”

“We have stayed at a ton of Airbnb’s before - never have I been motivated to write a bad review, but our stay here was terrible. There were giant bugs in the bathroom that came up through the tub drain in the master, so we chose to only shower in the hall bath. The beds were terrible and killed our backs. A shelf on the door of the fridge was broken and immediately fell out when first opened. The rocking chair in the living room is old/ loose and when you sit down it swings back/ almost fell completely backwards when sitting down. With all of this in mind, we still had a great vacation. However, upon check out, the owner attempted to charge us 155$ (INSANE) for the broken fridge shelf that was not our fault! Thankfully Airbnb settled this and the attempted charges were unsuccessful, but this was extremely frustrating. This place is also super far from everything in Branson except SDC. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.”

“Save your money and get a hotel! Extremely overpriced with no amities. No hair dryer, no iron and no mirror. Also there isn’t even a cup for the coffee maker.. Also bring water too, Mine came out brown till I ran it for awhile. The curtains don’t close so everyone ( if anyone else is a sucker like me) can see u naked. The refrigerator ( no freezer) is lopsided so bring a cooler. The pillows were terrible too. The toilet sit is too big for toilet, so it moves. Also they moved the trash can so I had to take my trash away (even though u will pay a cleaning fee). Worst experience ever & Airbnb were no help. So basically get a Hotel at least you will get what you pay for.”
