“Amazing house, looked even better than the pictures. It had everything we needed for the beach and to cook/grill a couple meals. We loved the pool, especially my toddler. It gets buggy being right on the water so we used it during the day only. The neighborhood was gorgeous. The only downside is, as other reviews mentioned, the beach that's close by has an incredibly long walk around a lagoon to get to the beach itself, so we didn't end up going to that one. The host provided a parking pass to use a different beach instead. We didn't need to reach out to them with any issues during the stay but they gave clear instructions for check in and check out. I thought it was a great value, would recommend staying here especially with kids who will enjoy the pool.”

“We had a good stay, but the pictures of the house left us disappointed once we arrived. The home is nice and spacious, however, one bedroom has an accordion doors which doesn’t leave you with much privacy since it’s right off the kitchen, and the other 3 bedrooms are all on one side. There were some items missing from the lanai so, I would recommend posting more updated photos. We did have an issue with a dryer but they were very proactive to resolve. The house can sleep many people, depending on how much you value privacy, but there were not very many towels for everyone to use so be prepared to wash them often. Beds are super comfortable, and the heated pool was amazing.”

“I’m a big believer in first impressions, and we were very excited for our stay, only to arrive at an unclean unit. There were piles of dirty sheets and towels, hair all over the bathroom floor, and dirty bathrooms and sinks. It quickly became clear that the condo had never been cleaned after the previous renters. Unfortunately, we slept in the dirty bed the first night, which was extremely upsetting and gross. We notified the host right away, and while they did send a cleaning lady the following morning, my husband had to stay back in the unit with her instead of spending time at the beach with our family. It ended up wasting a large part of our day. Needless to say, the first impression was set, and unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again.”

“We stayed in the 4th building floor 2 for those that read this post (as I realized when I read reviews they lump all reviews into just one as Horizon rental company so hard to know which is which). The place was clean and comfortable, location was great for going to the pool and beach (long walk but expected). The only complaint we had was that extra fee of $100 that was told to me 2 days before check in. Then when check in time comes they have many messages of the same thing sent (which can get overwhelming). It would be best if it was all consolidated but when I did give that feedback I was just told it was sent to me. Which they were not wrong, just again overwhelming. I would stay in Marco again but I would rent with a non rental company or direct. Overall, we had a great time and if none of that matters to you- you can’t go wrong!”

“Loved the place and location, The view is amazing! only things were that we were new to area and no local info in the unit which there usually is in an Airbnb. Also when picked keys up at Horizon Rentals they never told us we could park there for free to go to public beach and we didn’t find out till I went and asked 5 days in.(And had paid $40 one day to go to a beach) There was some wording on parking pass so I went and asked them. Also should be clearer about parking in condo. Park in public parking for Esplanade. Up to numbered spot. Must drive to all beaches. Paul was awesome just Horizon Rentals should’ve been more helpful.”

“The condo was adequate. The ice maker was not hooked up and due to high winds the front door whistled all night (was repaired). Found several black hairs in bathrooms (yuck). Would be nice to have a sheet pan to heat appetizers. Honestly, we have never been provided a checklist to complete before checkout. Beach chairs were dry rotted and unusable. Pool rules are very restrictive (no balls or music😒) not informed of $100 parking fee when booking. Marco Island is beautiful!”

“5 of the 7 days we were inconvenienced as the key to the place not working properly. Had to get a locksmith to put a whole new lock on! My husband & I felt like we were property managers for the place.”
