MVR's guest rating of 4.60 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“This was by far the worst Airbnb I’ve stayed in. The whole apartment honestly needs some TLC. The decorative rugs were dirty and stained, the decorative pillows were also dirty and stained, and the walls need to be repainted because they were covered in marks and stains as well. The living room table was insanely wobbly, and the shower head in the primary bedroom leaked the entire stay. The primary bedroom only came with 3 pillows total, which made no sense for the setup. It was also extremely hard to get extra towels for the bathrooms we ended up having to buy our own from Walmart. For supplies, they only provided 1 roll of paper towels, 1 trash bag, and 2 Gain laundry pods for the entire stay. You’re also paying a $30 daily “resort fee,” but the property does not operate like a resort at all. The only amenities offered were a pool and gym, and both closed at 10 PM. The valet parking situation was a huge inconvenience.”airbnb

“This was probably my worst stay. First the connecting room it seemed like somebody was messing with the door. The linens were dirty with make up on the sheets. The AC wasn’t working for the first day but the host sent someone to fix it, it worked for the remaining of the stay. However the next day I seen a roach in the bathroom. The host compensated me less than one nights stay which was not ok for all the troubles. The place needs a deep clean with walls included, the shower was also clogged. I would not recommend this Airbnb.”airbnb

“Overall, the place was okay. The view from the room was beautiful. Definitely the best part. The host was responsive through out the trip; however, the first day the refrigerator started making a loud banging noise that wasn’t resolved within our stay. Also, the last day the AC stopped working leaving the room very warm, the front desk was notified and they said they would come by to unplug and replug it and never showed up. Led to a very hot night of sleep. The place was as described just slightly run down and my socks were black after the first day there. Overall, I guess for the price it wasn’t bad but I don’t think I would visit again after all these problems.”airbnb

“I’ve stayed with this host before, and you definitely get your bang for your buck. If you’re looking for a cheaper option and a decent stay, this is your place—not upscale, but also not bottom of the barrel. That said, my issue came after my stay. I reached out to the host to inform him that I had left behind some brand-new merchandise in the unit. He told me he would have his housekeepers turn it in to security. When I contacted security the following day, they had no idea what I was referring to. I followed up with the host again, and although he said he would look into it, I still have not received any update or resolution. Also, please make sure you verify the cancellation policy before booking. I made a last-minute reservation at 2:00 AM for a 1:00 PM check-in, and due to an emergency involving my children, I attempted to cancel at 10:00 AM the same day. Unfortunately, the request was declined, and no refund was offered. I, personally would NEVER book with him again.”airbnb

“I’m disappointed with this stay. There are additional fees for parking and resort charges that were not clearly communicated upfront. On top of that, the condition of the unit does not match expectations for the price. The cleanliness is a major concern. The refrigerator and freezer have visible rust stains, which is unacceptable. The bathroom is not properly cleaned, with stains around the base of the toilet and visible hair throughout the space. The unit is also located on the second floor with little to no view, which was not clearly described in the listing.”airbnb

“Parking with the valet and the elevators were a pain. When everyone is checking out you can’t get an elevator. My son was on crutches and a knee scooter and we would literally have to tie his. Knee scooter down 5 floors through the parking garage.”airbnb

“Honestly I expected a lot more from this airbnb. The photos poorly describe the living area. The apartment is very run down. We walked in, our towels were dirty with stains on them. Bed sheets had stains on them. We needed to request new pillow cases twice because they brought us stained one the first time. The tvs are outdated, couch is super dirty and in stains (i didn’t even want to sit on it). Overall the resort is horrible. Only two elevators and the wait for the elevators was always long and they were always crowded. The cleaning crew rid the same elevators. Beach chairs weren’t available when we got to the beach and they charge 30$ per day and you don’t even get a chair every time you go to the beach and no towels were given. And the staff, could have be friendlier, sometimes they talked to me in a rude way, when i was just asking for towels. One pool for the entire resort, which was always packed. Honestly I expected to have a nice stay for what i paid but i wasnt pleased.”airbnb

“I first would like to acknowledge how kind Enrico was , he definitely was a responsive host. Unfortunately, the unit did have a problem with roaches that I was not aware about. The property is beautiful and looks like the pictures, but needs to be treated. When I found the roaches I took photos of the ones I could and contacted Enrico immediately. He said he would have his supervisor treat the unit ,but did not get back to me until later in the day to do so. I was traveling with a young toddler so I decided it was in our best interest to check out early and relocate given the circumstances. I asked for some type of compensation from the host and Airbnb support, because I did not finish my stay. I was met with gaslighting and told I was overreacting to "only two" roaches . This response had led me to feel disrespected and saddened that I wasn't taken seriously. I was hoping to work with the host to find a solution, but was blown off several times. Beautiful location, sad outcome.”airbnb
