“We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Georgia. The house is very spacious, and we especially loved being right next to the river. The location was peaceful and beautiful, and the river was definitely one of our favorite parts of the stay. There were a few things that could be improved. We understand that the listing mentions that shampoo and conditioner are not provided, but considering that very few other basic supplies are included, we feel these would be a nice addition for guests. There was also only a small amount of dish detergent, no laundry detergent, and no firewood for the fire pit, so we had to purchase those ourselves. The beds and pillows were also quite firm for our preference. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the house, the beautiful location, and especially the river. With a few small improvements to the amenities and comfort, this could be an even better stay.”

“We had such a wonderful time at the mountain oasis cabin! It was everything we could have hoped for and more. Super dog friendly, the river was easily accessible and had a perfect shallow area for the dogs to hang out. We will definitely be back with friends and family!”

“This place is magic. It's secluded, so no need to worry about loud neighbors. Beyond that, the place is immaculate and it still has the "new house" smell. The creek is perfect for kids to run around in, gem mine, etc. It's a quick drive to Elijay's downtown area and main strip, so you have everything you need at a reasonable distance. I would highly recommend this place for those looking to recharge the batteries. I know our family will be back again soon.”

“First, the location is truly stunning. The river and yard are beautiful along with the surrounding houses. Very peaceful. The cabin however was probably lovely 20 years ago. We ended up only staying one night mainly because of the mold. There was visible mold on the cloth ottoman in the living room. And the large upstairs storage closet smelled strongly of urine and mold. We did not feel comfortable staying with our small child breathing in that air. Also there was hair in shower drain, dirt & random pills in between the floor boards. When I notified mountain oasis of our early departure and the mold they simply said “sorry to hear that” and that was the end of the conversation. I had higher hopes for more care with the situation after we had driven 8 hours to be there because they were really so friendly & helpful all the way leading up to our checking in.”

“The river resort does not disappoint! We absolutely loved the home and the location. We really enjoyed the walk the deer and geese! Our dog also had the best time! Highly recommend if you travel with animals and kids!”

“What a fantastic visit to Ellijay! We absolutely loved our stay. The bungalow was wonderful, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and it was such a bonus to have the option to bring our "dog child" along with us. The location couldn't have been better—we enjoyed walking into town for breakfast, drinks, and dinner, and had easy access to several beautiful hiking trails. We also spent time exploring some terrific local wineries, which made the trip even more special. This was one of those getaways where everything just came together. We can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!”

“Property was nice enjoyed fly fishing the river. Overall great area I took my boys to a few local spots they were able to catch a few fish.”
