“Everything was great until we noticed old and stained couches, falling off drawers n dirty kitchen cabinets and bunch or roaches on the main floor. The access to the deck at the lake was misleading too as it was way too small and not usable. Cabin location was great but not worth the amount we paid for it.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Lake Lure log home overlooking Hickory Nut Lower Lake. The setting was peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we hoped for. The home had warm, rustic charm, while still feeling comfortable and inviting for a relaxing getaway. We also appreciated the nearby nature trail, especially because dogs are allowed on leash, making it a great option for travelers with pets. The waterfall along the trail added a special touch and made the walk feel like a true mountain escape.”

“This review is based only on my experience, I encourage everyone to form their own opinion. The biggest issue was the listing. It's advertised as a 4-bedroom, but it's actually a 2-bedroom with 4 living rooms that have sofa beds. That may work for some, but we booked expecting 4 private bedrooms for our group. We also had trouble getting through the gate because the intercom repeatedly gave a busy signal. I requested the fire pit before arrival as instructed, but it wasn't provided. The floors also weren't cleaned well, as my clean socks quickly picked up dog hair after walking through the house. The biggest disappointment was communication. After I questioned the bedroom setup, responses stopped. I reached out about the gate when we couldn't get back in around 10:15 p.m. due to poor T-Mobile service, and later about a wallet I thought I'd left behind. My messages were read but never answered. I think this would be a nice stay for a couple or two, but groups expecting four rooms no.”

“very nice spot to relax good restraunts near by. very beautiful view. cabin was comfortable and cozy. lake was great and all we had to do was walk down the stairs from our cabin to get there. we had a great time 10/10 recommend”
