Mountain Air Cabins
4.70Visit website
Mountain Air Cabins's guest rating of 4.70 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Quiet area. We got to smell the rain and watch the elk roam around the golf course! Great location and the bowling alley up the street for the kids was fun.”airbnb

“We enjoyed our stay at this cabin and would stay here again. Fairly sure you would need a four-wheel-drive for the driveway and road up to the cabin in winter weather conditions. I found it easiest to go past the driveway do a U-turn and drive straight in and then back out. We did not have our four-wheel-drive for our summer trip and it was OK. But the driveway is fairly narrow and steep at the beginning. The hot tub worked great for us. The view on the deck is very nice. You will want to bring your own cooking utensils at this cabin. We were offered an early check-in and offered an extra day at a discount which we took advantage of. We were very happy that the deck was clean, it’s one of the main things we enjoy when renting in the mountains.”airbnb

“Stairs to front door a challenge even for young people. Deck needs to be replaced, no gates to keep pets safe. Surrounding properties are either old or under construction. Hot Tub has no privacy. Parking an adventure, steep with no way to see where you are.”airbnb

“House was not as advertised in the description and photos. Hammock in the pictures, not available. Cans, cups, and trash under the deck where our dogs could get them. Grill has not been cleaned in a very long time. Food crumbs in the cupboards. Bathroom in hallway has water damage issues with caulking and needs to be redone. None of the bedroom doors latch shut. For a 5 night stay we were only given 2 towels and not provided any basic shower essentials, which is provided at any short term stay. We reached out to Airbnb due to some concerns with the property. As a result, the host reached out to us and completely disregarded our concerns. They were condescending and did not apologize or try to remedy the multiple issues. We had booked the home for 5 nights, but left after the first night because of our concerns with the property. With over 1,000 other short term rental options in the area we were able to easily find a clean and safe place to stay with courteous and respectful hosts”airbnb

“I hate giving 1-star reviews, but this cabin in Upper Canyon was disappointing. For the price, it lacked basic comforts. Sheets were dirty, bed was old and extremely uncomfortable, and the bathroom was far from the bedroom—especially tough being 8 months pregnant. No rugs, no toiletries, only one towel per person, and kitchen basics (like salt, pepper, and oil) were missing. The kitchen sprayer was broken and the fridge’s ice maker was noisy. Cleanliness was poor—found crumbs and hair in the bed, bugs in the rental, and dirty dishes. Scenery was not as pictured due to recent floods, with sandbags outside. Check-in was easy and the shower was good, but overall, this place didn’t feel like a home away from home. I recommend looking elsewhere.”airbnb

“Let me start by saying this will be a long review. The upstairs loft had bat bugs.. not bed bugs but still parasitic bugs that bit everyone that was up there. And not just a few.. a hundred or more. We discovered this at 10:00 a night, when we informed them what we thought at the time were bed bugs they let us know they had a bat problem recently and they were bat bugs “perks of living in the mountain” They did ask us if we were comfortable staying there or would we like for them to “see” if they had another available property. After looking around the home we decided that these bugs were contained to the loft and chose to stay.. they let us know that was fine and would send someone in the morning to clean up and spray. No one ever came. We stayed two more days and no one ever came and we never heard from them again, The pictures and the extras this property boast are NOT accurate . We love staying at Airbnbs this was our first bad experience.. buyer beware!”airbnb

“Cabin was beautiful in a great area. However it was dusty, linens and towels not fresh. Old coffee still in pot and coffee grounds still in coffeemaker. Kitchen dishes totally disorganized. TV remote missing. Had to download one to my phone. Grill gas tank empty. When reported no one showed up to exchanged. Was told they were short staffed that I could go do it myself. Office manager very rude and condescending. Said she was not in town to handle the issues. She knew she had customers why would she leave or not leave someone to take care of issues?”airbnb
