Mill Pond Realty's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The overall stay was great! The place was clean and was enough space for our two families. We had 4 adults and 3 kids with us. The check in process was smooth, but we had to drive in to Sagautuck to the actual building to get the code and welcome packet. It’s not a far drive but we had to make sure we were there before they closed. The beds also were a little lumpy in the sense that you can tell the area where people constantly laid down on. The fourth bedroom is more like the size of a walk-in closet, just an FYI. There was a twin size bed in that room so it was fine but just know it’s really tight.”airbnb

“The description was as listed. Going to a secondary location for check in was inconvenient. The home was not as clean as I would’ve preferred but overall it was a nice home.”airbnb

“Great location, house as described. They need to replace some of their kitchenware - non stick frying pans were damaged. They can do better with their kitchenware and providing grilling tools”airbnb

“Great place if you want to be close to town and walking distance to the water! We enjoyed our stay, but beware of the WiFi/service available. All 7 of us had issues getting kicked off the WiFi several times a day, failed calls, etc. Not just in the house, but the area as well. One of our friends went out to get food and couldn’t access maps or call us for help.”airbnb

“Great stay near Saugatuck — beautiful home, a few small hiccups We had a wonderful week at this Lake Michigan house with our extended family (about 15 of us). The views were stunning even with some smoke haze from wildfires during our stay. The decor was tasteful and the home was spotless when we arrived. It was also great for kids — well stocked with games that kept everyone entertained. A couple of small notes for future guests: check-in required a trip into Saugatuck to pick up info, which added unnecessary travel time — this could easily be handled virtually. Also, the AC didn’t reach the upstairs well, so the king bedroom upstairs ran warm at night — we brought a fan and it still wasn’t enough to cool it down. Overall a great home for a family gathering and we’d consider staying again.”airbnb

“Loved the home. Only problem was the HVAC. Home never cooled below 75. Brought it up to rental company immediately but never could get anyone out to look at it.”airbnb

“Beautiful home and property (Logom) on one of the best streets in the area. We love the Glenn store and everything the area has to offer. The check in and check out processes diverge from normal AirBNB expectations. The beach is dangerous due to old metal debris. In order to get to a safe swimming spot, we had to walk quite a ways north, which was probably private property. Another, unexpected and annoying issue was spotlights from the neighbors stairs, polluting the ability to star gaze. We asked if they could turn them off and they could not—also a rental. The lower deck could have been a good escape but needs pruning. The photos/decription weren’t accurate. It DID have shampoo and essentials, no pets but had pet supplies. We ran out of toilet paper and paper towel before our last day and had to buy more. Hot tub is smelly but might have been a dead rodent under the deck. NO privacy in the loft/primary bedroom. BIG cabin vibes, which we appreciated. Would probably stay there again.”airbnb

“The house gave us plenty of room to spread out. You can tell it has been constructed at different times. The kitchen is dated and narrow. The dishwasher doesn't line up to close. You can just tell that the very minimum is being done to rent this house. It's an amazing location but needs some TLC. We had been in town over a month before our rental and while walking on the road, we alerted the company that the fire pit was merely a few stones in the ground and wasn't really a pit anymore and that the picnic table was falling apart and instead of fixing the issues by our arrival, they told us we "were trespassing". We were unimpressed by the company and the lack of fixing things in the house. My husband had to open the cooling vents so the house could cool down. It was disappointing for the price tag.”airbnb

“Great home, nice neighborhood, but the proximity to the beach was misleading and the check in office was about a 20 minute drive from the house. Be prepared for a rockier shore than most of Lake Michigan. Otherwise a nice and clean space.”airbnb
