Mike Z Rentals's guest rating of 4.68 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Our stay here was amazing. The house was very inviting and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with more than enough of what you need. I was actually in shock as we normally find the bare essential when we book a place with a kitchen. All the rooms (bath, living, bed) were comfortable. There was enough space for us to spread out and hang out together or find some quiet time for ourselves. The screened patio was a big plus. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. A few friendly faces when we eventually saw someone walking around the block. We were all extremely happy.”airbnb

“Only one A/C unit for the whole house, upstairs bedrooms get super hot and upstairs A/C doesn't work. Wifi is very spotty and practically unusable. Water stops working at random times throughout the house with poor water pressure. Lovely backyard for grilling with firepit, volleyball net, and space. Nice kitchen.”airbnb

“A magnificent place, a magnificent property, and very peaceful. I will keep it in mind for future quiet and relaxing holiday getaways. I recommend it to those who want to relax and have a magnificent beach just meters away and see an unforgettable sunset.”airbnb

“Very slow internet and tv froze several times. Listing advertised a fire pit but there wasn’t one. The space was there but no fire pit. Screen door to walk outside was torn. Blinds in main bedroom were all wonky and wouldn’t open. There was a piece on the floor from the blinds. Toilet in main bedroom ran all night like a leaking sound. House was very warm and ceiling fan in main bedroom was on high but speed was slow. I was very impressed with the quantity of towels, toilet paper, and paper towels. The house worked for our group but needs some things fixed”airbnb

“I reached out about the pool being too dirty for use 1030am 2nd day. By 430pm I had asked about it 3 times and that’s when they finally said the technician couldn’t come out that day. The trash in the garage, the bigger one, was overflowed already, so we organized our trash on the floor around the overflowed trash can. We spotted several roaches around kitchen area, dead and alive. The WiFi speed fluctuated wildly, at times it wasn’t enough for simple web browsing, other times it would fly. The most annoying part was the dirty pool and seemingly lack of understanding that we needed a clean pool. They kept saying it is serviced regularly, and it’s safe for use, but it was visibly dirty, legit looked closer to swampy than super clean.”airbnb

“Spiders were an issue. You are dealing with a third party management company, which makes communication much harder. Pool is smaller than it even looks in pictures. Supplies were sparse at best. Required a ton of tasks upon checkout to “help the cleaning crew”. I’ve stayed in a ton of airbnbs and have had great experiences. Nothing terrible happened but it was underwhelming to say the least.”airbnb

“Booking was for 2 adults and 2 kids. We booked Unit C Basic Air Bnb platform necessities not met. Wifi was awful, essentially non-existent. Main bed was terrible and falling in the center, was shaped like a potato chip - TERRIBLE! Fold out couch for my kids had zero linens provided - no mattress cover, no sheets, no pillow cases. HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION Contacting owner was through a 3rd party that did nothing except relay the message, i imagine. Heard nothing about concerns/complaints after the first night, so we left. Left after the first night of our 2 night stay. Disappointing and completely avoidable for owners that care about their property, this owner/company does not. AVOID THIS PROPERTY”airbnb

“On the day of check-in I immediately messaged asking why the main house smelled like a combination of wet dog/cat urine and maybe mold. I was ignored. I continued to message and was continually ignored. My parents were supposed to stay with us and had to get a hotel since my mom has medical issues and I can't risk her staying somewhere with mold. There was trash in the courtyard between the units. Additionally, no where online in the house rules did it say that they will not allow you to lower the AC below 74 while in the home. We paid to have 3 units and were only able to use 2. We then had to pay even more for a hotel because the 1 unit was unlivable. The host did not care and did not respond to any of my messages about it. Some of the furniture is falling apart in the guest house unit and is not kid friendly, even though they knew I booked with children. Lastly, the location close to downtown allows you to hear bass from music venues vibrating the walls until 1 am. Worst place ever.”airbnb

“I use Airbnb a lot. This company has over 100 rentals and should know how to host a home. Most disturbing was the headboard of the master bed. Unfortunately I did not even realize how disgusting it was until we were getting ready to leave and I pulled the pillows away from the headboard to be sure we didn’t forget anything. My husband slept on the side that had this nasty big ugly brown/yellow stain from someone sleeping with their head against the headboard. I have never seen anything like this on a headboard from a persons head and honestly can’t imagine how someone’s head could make such a nasty stain. (I have pictures as I was appalled.) I would have never slept in that bed had I seen that but there were pillows piled up against the headboard. Yellow pee stains on sheets. Closet doors didn’t work. Dryer didn’t work. Breakers in the panel box kept tripping, Making sizzling noise which sounded very unsafe! No utensils for the grill. Only plastic spatula in the kitchen.”airbnb

“We reached out to the host shortly after check in regarding a large area of the screened in patio being ripped resulting in mosquitos being in the screened in area especially at night, as well as the pool heater not working so the pool was 74 degrees for our entire stay. The host stopped answering my text messages and then eventually stopped answering my messages on airbnb after they stated maintenance was going to be sent but no one ever showed up in the time we were there. The floors did not seem like they were swept or vacuumed before our arrival and there was trash left on the couch so cleanliness was a bit of a concern as well. We see in the airbnb description that the Naples airport is very close by so airplanes coming and going early in the morning or late at night could be bothersome especially with little ones. We were so excited to stay at this location in Naples but ended our trip feeling extremely disappointed. The lack of communication and help were most disappointing.”airbnb
