Midway Vacations Air Bnb was such a disappointment. Upon arrival, 1 out of 4 elevators were not operating and the other elevators were packed like sardines. We missed 4 elevators runs and waited for almost 30 minutes. The hallway floors smelled musty while working to our room #813. The hotel room did not feel clean. Many outlets were taped up. Just many problems. The pool area and deck was not opened as scheduled. When it did open, a fee was charged to use the bbq grill on an hourly basis. There was also a basketball hoop and tennis courts but you needed to provide the equipment. Very dissatisfied!! Do not rent from Midway Vacations or stay at the Waikiki Banyan. I also requested for a discounted credit and have not received one.

It was great place to stay. Its fully remodeled. Host would response for any questions you have. They provided chairs, umbrella, sheets, towels for the beach. 5 mins walk away from the beach. 5 mins walk away from center of waikiki. It comes with free parking with security guard. I seen people parking suv, jeeps.

Please work on your doors. Bathroom door doesn’t lock, the slider door at bedroom doesn’t go well and more importantly the main door malfunctions very often. The hair dryer and tv remotes doesn’t work, also one of the lamp in the bedroom doesn’t work

We sincerely enjoyed our stay. The views were absolutely breathtaking. I loved waking up early, grabbing my coffee, and walking the beach while watching the sunrise before the kiddos and my husband were awake. The parking pass was incredibly convenient for exploring and doing activities without having to move the car or pay for parking elsewhere. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean, and the condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality, we truly had an amazing time, we even stayed an extra day. Mahalo!

My husband and I stayed at this AirBnB in April 2026 for about a week. During our stay there was a major issue with excessive gnats entering the condo. We also felt that small details were missed: there was no filtered water, minimal kitchen plates, stained towels and uncomfortable pillows. The condo shares a very thin wall and door with another condo owned by this company, so we felt a lack a privacy during our stay. The condo is located in a safe complex with easy parking and is within walking distance of the beach and many restaurants and shops.

The vacation rental was very clean and we had ample space. I loved using the balcony in the morning and during the day. It faces a lush green area with trees and some cat visitors. We also used the pool and hot tub facilities. The beach is a block away and we used the beach chairs and towels that were provided. The only issue we had was that bugs would get into the space at night even though we didn’t open doors and windows. They would be attracted to the lights. We would find many of them the next morning lying on the ground and vacuum them up. The Airbnb host gave us a small refund for the situation and offered to clean the apartment (though we didn’t need it because we vacuumed ourselves) which was much appreciated. It didn’t bother us too much but was a bit annoying to not be able to use the space in the evenings. Maybe it was just a problem during that part of the year (early April).

We lost power during our stay due to the storm, I asked do flashlights and never responded. We have a little and it would have been helpful with flashlights or at least a response to my question. Power was brought back on and was lost again the following night, we figured it would be back the next morning unfortunately it was not. I messaged to ask if they had any updates on power did not hear back. We finally found a number we can call at the place, called only for the receptionist to tell us yes they were away and knew power would take 1-2 weeks to restore. The fact that they knew and didn’t think it was important to inform us is crazy. Worst communication team ever.
