Mid-Florida Home Management's guest rating of 4.66 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Upon initial check-in, the unit seemed very nice and clean. However, after the first night, we noticed a single cockroach, we weren’t too worried about it as the host informed us that the property is treated monthly for pests, and the house book stated that some bugs may wander in. By the fourth night of our stay, it was very clear that this was not just a wandering pest, but instead, the unit was infested with cockroaches. After informing the host, they let us know that an exterminator would come out however we were not willing to stay in the unit as we began finding cockroach feces everywhere, including in the bed. We were told that they could not put us in a new unit since our checkout was coming up the next day. I informed the host that we would not be staying and would be requesting a refund. I did not get a response until after I contacted the Airbnb team. The message following from the co-host was purely questioning the involvement of Airbnb in the matter. Ruined my vacation!”airbnb

“The house itself is nice and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. After a long day of traveling, we discovered hair and stains on multiple bed sheets, which meant we had to strip beds and search through the house for clean linens before we could even go to sleep. There was also hair in the bathrooms and the bathroom sink appeared not to have been cleaned prior to our arrival. In addition, the neighborhood was much noisier than expected, making it difficult to relax and enjoy our stay. What was most frustrating was that despite bringing these cleanliness issues to the host’s attention, no compensation or meaningful resolution was offered for the inconvenience. Having to spend our first evening cleaning and remaking beds after traveling all day was not how we expected to start our vacation. While the home itself is attractive, the cleanliness standards and response to guest concerns need significant improvement.”airbnb

“We had a fantastic stay at this Villa, it was very clean, the pool was beautiful and the location was great. The kids loved the games room and the space of the property was a dream, really great. A few things could have been improved however. The villa is in need of a brief instruction manual including simple infomation, e.g what days rubbish is collected, where do we place it etc. The aircon was really cold and the team could not tell us where in the property it was located to adjust - personal touches like this would have gone a long way, the agency didnt seem to have clear knowledge of the individual home. All in all though a great stay, thoroughly enjoyed.”airbnb

“it was clean and nice. It is not really child friendly. It was more of a retirement community. They should tell you not to arrive after 11 because someone will complain if you make any noise. We felt like we had to tip toe and whisper for fear of being asked to leave.”airbnb

“The place was clean and organized. Enough beds and furnitures. Kids enjoyed the pool. We were little unhappy as body wash & shampoo was missing from every bathroom. We stayed for 5 days and there was only one roll of toilet paper in each restroom. Dish soap and the detergent soap was limited for not more than 2 order of services. There was only 2 trash bags for 5 days stay. They should be able to differentiate between the small and large group stay. However, we enjoyed it throughout our stay though I had to be back and forth to grocery stores for very basic things.”airbnb

“The house was okay overall but could use a deep cleaning. The beds were comfortable and the house is very spacious. However, we had issues with the pool heating during our stay. On the first day, the heater was not on, and after I contacted the host it was turned on, but it became extremely hot, like a hot tub. The main reason I booked this house was for the pool, especially for my 5 kids, but we were only able to use it for one day out of our 6-day stay. I paid over $200 for the pool heating service, which did not work as expected. We were eventually told to add water from the hose to cool it down, and we were able to use it for one day, so I was okay with paying for that one day of use. I communicated with the host daily, but the issue was never resolved. I also requested a refund for the remaining days we could not use the pool, but I did not hear back after submitting that request. Overall, I would not stay again. Thank you.”airbnb

“Would not stay here again, absolutely do not recommend! Whoever owns this property didn’t pay the water bill which resulted in a night with no water whatsoever. No flushing toilets, no showering or washing hands. How gross- Who doesn’t pay their utility bills especially when running an Airbnb?! Awful! And then when given a refund they didn’t even give us the equivalent of a full nights stay due to THEIR issue. Low balled the refunds for our “troubles” thinking that was ok. We also paid for a heated pool and only had a heated pool for 2 out of 8 nights that we were there. They respond on their time. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.”airbnb

“As beautiful as the place seems there was mold in the bathrooms and sheets were dirty and stained. Honestly mad the stay uncomfortable reached out about the mold and only one liner was changed rest was left untouched. So unfortunately that’s where the review is lowered, unit was also very dusty which again was disappointing as all these were triggers for my daughters asthma.”airbnb

“The only thing that I wasn't pleased with was I had to leave a week early due to circumstance beyond my control. When I tried to alter my reservations they claimed they were unable to accept due to Airbnb's policies. This is untrue. I spoke to an Airbnb customer service rep who stated they had no such policy and it's up I the host. I would've been fine if they had simply owned that they will not accept alterations to rervations in progress rather than lieing and putting the blame on Airbnb.”airbnb
