4.61
MiaMio Hospitality's guest rating of 4.61 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The oven did not close all the way, we had to put chairs against it just for it to heat up. We messaged and were told it would be fixed but it was not. The AC is VERY loud. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!!

The space itself was decent, but I was extremely disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding visitors. The listing prohibited parties and excessive noise, which was completely reasonable, but it did NOT disclose that even one visitor had to be added to the reservation. This restriction was only communicated after booking. I immediately raised concerns and made clear we were not having a party just 2 family members and their infant visiting for 2–3 hours. We hadn’t seen them in 3 years. The communication made it seem like this could be worked out, but once the cancellation/payment window passed, there was no flexibility. Frankly, it felt like a scam because I would NEVER have booked had this been disclosed upfront, and by then my only option was to lose my money. The oven door was also broken and had to be held shut while cooking; although reported, no one came. This did not feel like a home away from home.

The place need maintenance asap. There was two active leaking hole in the second bedroom ceilling. Everytime the tenant above us use restroom. The water start dripping on the bed and on my husband face. We asked host to take care and was very patient but they seem responsive in message only. In reality they donot care a bit and were just bluffing around. They didnot even fix the problem. The place didnot even have hair dryer. We were told to be given hair dryer but that too was only in message. There was no mirror at all except in bathroom sink. I wanted to do one load of laundry but there was no detergent at all. There were no sugar packs. These things are bare minimum which should be available in all airbnb places. We struggle for the very basic amenties which made our trip disappointing. The place also look shabby with creepy people standing by the door. The only good thing was the distance from the major Chicago attractions. Inspite of this I love the attractions around the city.

The interior was nice and clean. In the second bathroom where no shampoo. But the worst was the people on the second floor, kids running around - very loud. Packing their bags at 1am and checking out early. Parking in the back and having a narrow walkway with gravel to the front.

They have extremely poor service! They charged me a refundable deposit for parking spot and is not returned yet and I have to spend my time asking for the refundable deposit. The stove wasn’t working and they couldn’t provide with an alternative for my stay. For anything and everything they have just one thing to say- will talk to management and share an update.

check in was good but the next day the elevator stopped working and we were on the 3rd floor for 7 days. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING $20 daily amd the unit was so dirty on surfaces and the walls i’m not sure why they can’t repaint those walls just eww. the door in the master room where the vent is is broken and fell on us even after we put it on the wall. no stove just hot plate…. AC probs, one tea cup lol its a fewww things and the gate for where we parked was left open for 5 days out of the 7 days we stayed so our cars weren’t secured. being that the elevator was broke we had to use a other door and it was always homeless people on the steps or across the road so we didn’t really feel safe and the entire building is for girls who got their body done you will definitely see alot of bloody females just coming from surgery or post op care its not somewhere you want to go for vacationing. host was annoying and bothering us to check out early before check out time probably had guests that

The place was very convenient for the location. However, upon arrival it was as if the place had to been cleaned properly. The bathroom had stains & random hair in it as well as MOLD in the bathroom. These conditions made me & my guest very uncomfortable & even caused us to become sick. We also experienced ants in the window seal as well as one crawling in the bed. The faucet in the bathroom was VERY slow to drain often causing it to overflow which is not ideal at allll. Would NOT recommend.

The stay was decent overall, but there were a few issues that should be addressed. There were stains in several areas, and the entire place would benefit from a thorough cleaning. The listing says the unit sleeps six, but only one key fob was provided. That made things inconvenient since our group had to move together or someone had to stay behind if another person needed to run an errand. There is also no quick solution if someone gets locked out, which added unnecessary stress. After checkout, we were questioned about where the garage opener was left. We had placed it in a visible spot before leaving. It felt odd having to explain where it was when it was easy to find within seconds, which made the situation feel like our refundable fee might have been at risk unnecessarily.
