“Our original listing did not work out due to unusually high heat on that weekend in Vermont and our hosts very quickly and kindly accommodated our group. We were able to move to another property right away which worked out wonderfully with a group of 6 (two young children + 4 adults + 1 dog). Plenty of space, ductless split AC to keep us nice and cool, and very clean. Hosts also extremely responsive and communicative. We were very impressed with the turnaround in resolving our reservation and nothing but positive reviews about the property. Beautiful area, centrally located, quiet, private, and everything we needed at our fingertips! We visit this area alot and this was one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. Will definitely return. Thank you!”

“This was a repeat visit - I have stayed at this house five or six times. It is extremely comfortable and offers the amenities I look for. I love being able to walk or jog along old Main St. The lighting in the house is excellent for reading. The house is very spacious and could accommodate a large family or group. The management company keeps it in good shape - everything works and it is very clean.”

“Great location, peaceful and beautiful views. Great size for my husband and I, plus our dog. Dog park was close by as well as great hiking spots. We love visiting Ludlow, so great proximity to restaurants and shops. Easy check in, super responsive and accommodating host. Will stay again!”

“Our family had an amazing time at Meadow Homes in Rutland, VT. The house is incredibly spacious, family-friendly, and had plenty of room for all of us to relax. The kids loved the playroom and large backyard and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches, like a fully equipped kitchen and extra linens. Meadow Homes was extremely welcoming and communicative. The house was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy. We especially loved spending the evenings outside in the back patio’s private hot tub and wood-burning fire pit. The location was perfect for a lovely getaway, yet still close to everything we needed. Highly recommend! Thank you for a memorable trip!”

“We had a large group of 15 and this place was perfect for us. Having two houses on the same property was great, everyone had plenty of room and it felt like we had our own private retreat without being on top of each other. The two kitchens were a huge plus for a group our size. Parking was easy which is not always a given with a large group. The location was quiet and scenic but also very convenient. Getting into town for anything we needed was easy. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout, which made the whole experience seamless. We would absolutely stay here again for a group of this size. Highly recommend.”

“Rainy weather caused our weekend hiking plans to be minimized but thankfully this home provided the perfect respite when we couldn’t enjoy the outdoors. Home was cozy and looked exactly as expected. Every amenity a person could need is easily found (cabinets etc. are labelled!). Any question that came up was answered quickly and thoroughly. This location is going to be saved as a favorite and we are hopeful to return again and get another shot at some good weather.”
