Maui Rental Group
4.39Visit website
Maui Rental Group's guest rating of 4.39 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Codes for pool were not clearly listed. code for gate to get to beach was not found at all but can be accessed from the stairs. There was an alarm from somewhere outside going off two nights in a row. The biggest issue was the lack of a privacy cover over the bedroom window. Not only did the outside light make the room too bright but offered no privacy from anyone outside in the parking lot or on nearby balconies. They obviously knew about it because when I brought it up, I was told the parts are on order. Yet it wasn't mentioned or anything temporary done.”airbnb

“Such an amazing stay and in the best location. Hosts were really responsive and very helpful. Place was clean and had a lot of kitchen tools, extra blankets and towels, and other great amenities. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again if given the opportunity”airbnb

“This place is fantastic for two, It would get crowded with more. It is very walkable to some amazing restaurants and a short driving distance to others. Located near some awesome beaches both either walkable and driveable. Equipped with everything you need for the beach. Chairs, towels and umbrellas. Equipped with essentials to get you through the first few days depending on how long you’re staying. Having a washer and dryer in the unit made ALL the difference to be able to go home with clean clothing. Cons. The bed is extremely soft. My back didn’t agree with it and resulted in some back pain but if you like a soft bed this place is your jam. I get that this place is close to the beach and sand is unavoidable but we abided by the shoes off rule and were still surprised by the amount of sand in the unit. Towels had some stains on them and smelled of mildew but having the washer and dryer corrected that issue easily. Would stay in this unit again if the mattress were more firm.”airbnb

“We love the location in Kihei, very close to great beaches and restaurants! This was a very clean, nice space that was an excellent home base for us for our trip. It was so nice to have the beach chairs and cooler to use! We loved having washer/dryer to use as well. We were disappointed on arrival that there was not a hot tub as this was a listed amenity. Otherwise, we were happy with this rental.”airbnb

“This was a mixed experience. The location was fine. Across from the beach. Nice view. Some restaurants nearby. The location and description was accurate. My bigger issue was either with the landlord or the property management group. They required a different contract in which they said they can change the rates on you if they "made a mistake." So keep and eye on that. They sent several texts, emails, and phone calls to get our email to "send check in instructions on their portal." But we got the same/similar instructions through AirBnB. Not sure why they needed the email. They also said there was enough soap, toilet paper, and trash bags for 24 hours and to get your own. That wasn't accurate. Not sure why they said that. Their online instructions were wrong for the WiFi. eventually found them in the house. Overall, that was the oddest experience with a property management group I've had on AirBnB.”airbnb

“Except for the kitchen, the unit is very dated but comfortable and spacious. We got a kick out of the "spa-like bathroom" description. The unit is well stocked for everything you may need during our time in Maui. Overall, we did enjoy our time. The issue is exclusively with the Airbnb host. We asked about shipping to the property and were told we cannot do so. A day or two before arrival you will get an email which tells you the exact steps to ship to the property. Due to this misinformation we spend $10 and an hour of our time to use a 3rd party package service. So, if you ask the host questions please do not expect them to be aware of their actual policies. Additionally, hot tubs are listed as an amenity. We asked the property managers about this, and they noted there have never been hot tubs and that some hosts continue to advertise this. We brought this up to the host immediately on Feb 20th and as of March 7th they are still listing hot tubs as an amenity - unethical at best.”airbnb
