“I loved it! The house is exactly as pictured, a peaceful place to relax. We had a problem with the door, but they helped us quickly and we were able to get in. I hope to return soon.”airbnb

“This place is sensational, almost like new, close to the lake and the restaurants, in a very quiet neighborhood. I’m counting the days to return to the same Airbnb. Thank you.”airbnb

“We really enjoyed our stay here and felt it was an excellent value for the space and amenities provided. You can tell the hosts are very experienced. They’ve truly thought of every little detail that helps keep a family comfortable and happy. The linens were clean, the beds and furniture were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was strong for everyone in our group. The kitchen was well-equipped and made it easy to prepare great meals at home. We especially appreciated being able to spread out in the open living area and play ping pong together in the garage. It’s a great layout for families or small groups looking to relax together. The location felt safe and convenient close to town and Bear Lake, but tucked away enough to also feel private. Would stay here again, thank you!”airbnb

“Pros: Very spacious, house fully stocked, view of the lake, nice big garage with remote for parking, location was great for town and Beaver Lodge, dog friendly. Board games, outdoor activities available. Entry was easy. 2 fridges for extra food. Decorated nicely but not cluttered. Washer and dryer available. Not deal breaker: 1 TV in house. Truck yard across so noisy. Lots of dead bugs in windows, ceiling fans and lights have thick dust. Sign asks to take off shoes, but floors were dirty, we wore slippers and vacuumed and cleaned floors. Cons: Master shower extremely small and when turned on, water shoots out the door that doesn't close properly. Could only take 1 shower at a time and could not run any other water in house or it would severely affect water temp. Either too hot or too cold. No flushing toilets, laundry, sinks while showering. Bathroom floors were dirty, especially around toilets.”airbnb

“Upon check in, we saw a ton of dog poop in the yard. I let the host know but received no acknowledgment about this. We had young children on our reservation and 2 dogs of our own so this was unacceptable. The day after check in, we woke up to no electricity. After doing my own digging, I found that this was planned maintenance that would last nearly 7 hours. We had no heads up that this would happen, and as a homeowner that uses the same electric company in another city, I know for certain this company sends notices for planned disruptions like this. That said, the host’s communication about such an inconvenience was disappointing. We had a newborn with us that required electric devices that we were unable to use. We were left with no alternatives, freezing water throughout the home, and no compensation. Finally, during a family meal, a dining chair completely broke under one of our guests, which ended up with him on the floor and sharp pieces of the chair dangerously sticking out.”airbnb

“We hosted a gluten-free cooking retreat here with my company Hope Haven Events. This is one of the best places! Huge Kitchen & comfortable lodging. Super clean. I loved it.”airbnb

“This was a fine, cheap place to stay in Bear Lake. My main complaint is getting to the property. Google Maps took us two separate routes, neither of which worked. The first one took us through a construction site that had a gate we could not get through. The second route took us to a road that did not exist. I decided to contact the host. Nobody answered the phone number provided so I messaged them for directions. Luckily they responded in about 15 minutes, which I was very thankful for considering it was after 10pm. The host sent us a map showing which way to go. The host sent us multiple automated messages prior to the trip, with lots of info repeated. None of the messages mentioned that Google Maps might take you the wrong way. If you’re going to send multiple lengthy messages prior to arrival, that is something that should be included. I don’t need the wifi password sent to me multiple times prior to arriving.”airbnb
