“Nice place, situated amongst large trees and offering great views, since it sits pretty high. Walkable to Mammoth Mountain lifts and restaurant. Very comfortable unit. The other queen bed is in the loft, which offers less privacy.”

“We had a great stay. The unit is exactly as shown, if not even a bit larger. It was great having a bathroom per each bedroom - our group of 5 felt like we had our own separate spaces. The lack of hand soap was a bit odd, though it was communicated in advance. Just be prepared to bring your own.”

“Beautiful condo and great location, walkable to canyon and easy to take the shuttle. Difficult to find and the hot tub was not working. Missing hand soap but did have body wash, shampoo and some kitchen staples like oil. Fully stocked kitchen with utensils, pots, etc.”

“be warned this is run by a property management company. there is no lockbox, so to check in you have to go to the center of town. I had a bit of trouble finding the location, it was after 5, no phone number was listed, no one really responding to the Airbnb messages. The house itself was clean and in good condition. some confusion figuring out the heating situation. Upon checkout I asked if I can return the keys at noon, since we had to leave by 10AM, I was thinking of hitting the slopes for some runs. They told me no, I had to return the keys by 10AM. It was a Sunday w/ no anticipated check ins the next day. You're not dealing w a person, just a company with policies geared toward the owner. If they had a lockbox I could've just left the keys but I didn't want to go into town and back up the mountain. Missed out on some nice morning runs because of that”

“The check in was really difficult because they did not inform us we had to drive to an off-site location to pick up the keys.”

“I really wanted to like this airbnb but it left me feeling disappointed. No wifi. Host did not provide basic toiletries. Blamed a new California law that prohibits them from issuing any toiletries at all when in reality only small disposable containers are prohibited and they can still provide toiletries in refillable containers but choose not to. Funny because we ended up washing our hands with the travel sized bottle of dish soap they provided in the kitchen. No wifi. Have to pick up keys at a different location and return them BEFORE your 10am check out time or else you will be charged a key replacement fee. So make sure to leave early from the airbnb you overpayed for. No wifi. For the price, I was expecting to receive AT LEAST a similar experience to the ones I have had in other airbnbs in the area. Do better! This airbnbs saving grace is its proximity to Canyon Lodge. Only about a 5 minute drive. Overall it was an OK experience.”
