“We are regulars at North Coast Village and even lived there for five months while remodeling our home locally. We have stayed in more than 10 different units at the property, and unfortunately, the host of this unit, Make My Vacation, is the worst we have encountered. The unit itself is clean and updated, and the beds were comfortable, but it is very bare-bones and basic. They do very little to make the stay more comfortable or convenient, especially for families with kids. There is essentially no useful beach equipment no umbrellas, good beach towels, beach bags, or body boards. There were only two old, broken-down beach chairs. The unit also has maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The biggest issue, however, was the hosting company. They demand personal information in order to communicate outside of the Airbnb app rather than simply communicating through Airbnb, which is against Airbnb policy. I ended up spending nearly two hours tracking down my own check-in instructions”

“Overall was a great location and got the job done. Great location. Could be better on cleanliness and amenities within apartment itself. Ants were problem, there are no stables such as coffee, sugar, salt pepper etc. Traffic and road noise are an issue. Right on the intersection of 2 streets. Could be a 5 star place with more effort.”

“Great location. Was worth the money but the microwave did not work which is frustrating when you are on vacation. Usually just like to have that to heat up leftovers from a restaurant. Otherwise good experience”

“The condo is on the older side, but the complex is nice and has lots of great amenities. There is no air-conditioning. Each room should have a fan to pull in the outside air in the window. (There was one, but we kept that in the living room for the pull out couch sleepers) There is ceiling fans, but We were pretty uncomfortable the whole time and actually had to go buy a fan for the bedroom. The beds were comfortable. The linens were nice. And the location is great!”

“Nice are clean condo lots of amenities but it had no central AC I tried reaching out to my vacations and I would get disconnected. I ended up getting sick my allergy induced asthma kicked in because I was breathing all the glass pollen. Couldn't close the windows with no AC”

“The location is amazing. My children had lots of fun at the pool and the beach. Issue was constant beaping in living room, ancient TVs (it took forever to operate the apps), furniture is clean but old. The only way to communicate is to call 844 number which I didn’t have time to do. Quick messaging isn’t an option.”

“The location and grounds of the community was wonderful. Generally the unit was great. But requested repairs were not done.”

“Good unit and beautiful location. Lots of walking to get in and out of this unit so be prepared for that. The only concern we had was work being done on the building while we were there and were not given any prior notice.”
