“Absolutely unbelievable space. Beautiful location and perfectly private to enjoy all of the views. The sunrise every morning was unbelievable and the cabin itself was stunning and perfect.”airbnb

“We spent one night here. The room was incredibly decorated with all the furnishings of a typical hotel room. The outdoor space was great with an amazing view of the mountains. The onsite resturant had a Sunday lunch buffet that was really good. My only complaint is that the walls seem to be a little thin as I was disturbed my the next door TV on several occasions. Overall this room is well worth the cost.”airbnb

“This place is out of this world. From the first steps inside the smell of fresh woods hits you. Then onto the patio with that view absolutely stunning. The place itself was really clean with plenty of utensils and supplies. A lot bigger than the pictures show and even more beautiful. The surrounding area is quiet and relaxing and at nighttime sitting on the patio in the darkness just listening was so tranquil. The sunrise is just spectacular. The road and driveway up to the property was no problems and it felt you were close enough to other properties but far enough it wasn't noticeable. I have no faults whatsoever on this place. I hope I get to experience it again one day. 10/10.”airbnb

“This is a Cabin overlooking the valley of the Blue Ridge mountains. The view is great, the location is quiet and cozy and it is a charming wood cabin with two good rooms. The only “if” is the request by the owners that we take the garbage with us, together with our suitcases, to dispose of it after a 10-minute drive along a different dirt road, and then backtrack to the paved road.”airbnb

“Almost heaven, but missed the mark. Cabin #5. Nice getaway. Not as quiet or remote as I would have liked. Loop road of cabins, restaurant, playground. Paved roads somewhat steep, curvy, not far from main road 33. Thickly wooded bird haven. Heard a Barred Owl. And campers driving by. And some man telling my dog to be quiet as soon as she barked at a squirrel from the private? deck. Large, safe fire pit includes picnic table. Firewood provided. Small charcoal campsite style grill. Bring foil and charcoal. Rugged natural stone steps and path with no railing. Lovely, but not ADA or toddler/elderly friendly. Robes for hot tub. Smart TV with Apps if you have subscription. No cable channels provided. Cleanup instructions were to run dishes through the dishwasher AND put them back in the cupboards? Sink drain plug did not hold water to hand wash. Service for four exactly. Some coffee provided. No reply to video of woodpecker destroying deck beam. Wood chips covered deck, hot tub cover, table.”airbnb

“As for the cabin, very nice and clean. The sunset picture was not likable due to tree growth. Deck furniture needs updating, fridge was not cold and did not get coolier to the adjustment, and lastly be sure to check hot tub before entering, we noticed we weren’t smelling any chlorine or chemical of such. My daughters still got in and thought-(maybe it’s chemical smell free cleaner”- wrong we were, 3 daughters got in, I did not-On day we were leaving my daughters were filled with red, swollen welps all over there bodies. After getting home we thought bed bugs, so as we are disinfecting and throwing things out and going to a med xpress, they had contracted HOT TUB FOLLICITICUS which comes from unsanitary unclean hot tubs, which can take up to 10 days to heal and 15 for full recovery.. I have reached out to Lydia mountain and the only responses I have recieved are “Thank you for your feedback we will have the cabin inspected” which is a unproffesional No No red flag for me.”airbnb
