“Glacier View Chalet is an absolutely beautiful home! Top end construction, private setting and on the western flank of Mt. Hood. Down the lane and you are on memorable hikes along the Sandy River. Two miles east on Lolo Pass Road and you have a view of Mt. Hood photographers cherish. Head west and you have great dining at Zig Zag Inn & Cafe, fantastic BBQ at Skyway and Timberline Lodge. Head to Hood River for Betty's Cafe or north to Castle Rock for Amaro's Table and a visit to Mt. St. Helen's. Heaven! Bryan was a fantastic host and our 5 days here were wonderful.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Bryan's place. The house was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and equipped with new, modern appliances that made it easy for our family to settle in and enjoy several takeout dinners at this vacation home. The location was very convenient for exploring NW23, Portland’s great gourmet food, coffee, and local shops. Parking required a little effort at times, but it was manageable and not difficult overall. The host’s home was a lovely base for our trip, and we would gladly stay here again.”

“This cabin is a perfect oasis on the Oregon coast! My family and I (8 adults, 1 toddler) stayed here comfortably. We enjoyed everything about the house - the pool table, ping pong, hot tub, spacious living area and comfy rooms! The only thing to note is that one of the sleeping areas is a loft (no door), but it's totally fine and cozy. The host was super responsive to our questions and all the directions were very clear. The house is also located in a great area. Private, peaceful, and 10 min drive from the beach. Best part of all - the stars are INCREDIBLE even just from the driveway! ✨”

“We truly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is welcoming and the place is perfect for 2 couples. We could walk to great restaurants and shops. Bryan is a wonderful host, very communicative, and always quick to respond. We had a car and found street parking without issue and the location provided easy access to several highways. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The Glacier View Chalet felt grand! Watching a family of deer, rabbits eating their morning meal, chipmunks climbing the trees, and the occasional snake or wild mouse roaming the grounds brought excitement to everyone. Mt Hood was framed clearly from the great room, while the surrounding trails, lakes, and waterfalls suited our need for a relaxed, tech-free retreat. The host was responsive to our questions and was accommodating to our needs. Al Forno Ferruzza Pizzeria and Koya Kitchen both featured great atmosphere and decent food when not cooking at the chalet. Be sure to visit Little Zigzag Falls, Frog Lake, and Trillium Lake — they were all majestic in their own way and each offered nature views that were breathtaking. If you’re looking to unwind, find peace and quiet, finish a book, or exchange stories with family and loved ones in a remote setting, this is the place for you.”

The home was beautiful, comfortable, and in a fantastic location—we truly felt fortunate to stay here. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were well-equipped, and there was plenty of space for our whole group. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. “great location close to everything but far enough away from all the noise on NW 23rd Ave. Shared it with another couple and loved that it had two King rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Full kitchen and washer/dryer was very helpful to have as well. Host very easy to reach and quick to respond. Would stay there again! Walking distance to Jerry's - IYKYK”
