“The neighborhood itself was great. Easy access to the beach. There was enough space for all of us. Downside was the place was hot the entire time. We had to replace batteries in the tv remote. Cordless vacuum barely worked so it was hard to clean. Very minimal supplies for cooking and cleaning. Had to go purchase nearly everything the following day for basic cleaning. Should at least have regular salt and pepper for cooking. I’ve stayed at a lot of AirBnbs and this place was “okay” at best.”

“The location was good. However, I reported several issues with the cleanliness of the condo and no one ever contacted me back after saying they would forward it to the property manager. There was hair in the shower, stains on the bed sheets, and it was super dusty! We should have received a partial refund for these things.”

“Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here. We had to contact property management who you rent from here is not who to talk to for any issues/questions. The closet door came off the tracks & fell on my mother, hitting her in the head. We had trouble accessing the beach equipment, there was mold around the HVAC closet, old food was found by/under the bed, & lost power for most of a day, leaving us without a/c for hours. We were offered either one night in a hotel or a one-night credit, but moving our entire family, luggage, groceries, & vacation supplies for a single night only to move everything back the next day was not a practical solution. I really felt more could have been done to accommodate. The pool was another disappointment. It wasn't located at our building, was much smaller than expected, & since it served multiple units, it was too crowded for everyone to enjoy. The other tenants using it were also very rude. All these issues made it difficult to enjoy our vacation.”

“Our experience with this stay was a bit of a mix between positive and negative. First, the positives: the location was phenomenal. It was close to so many Tahoe hotspots yet was still quiet and peaceful. Love Rentals was also very communicative and helpful along the way. Now for the negative: check in was very frustrating. When we arrived we could not access the apartment and for 2 hours, the property manager was unreachable. We almost had to book another stay before the manager finally arranged for a locksmith to let us in. The apartment was also not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs on the interior and some pet hair. The worst part was the mouse droppings on some of the furniture and cookware. Overall, while the stay had some definite positives, we wouldn’t stay here on our next trip to Tahoe.”

“This is such a beautiful home that the current owners and management company have let gone down hill. You pay this much for home you expect luxury. The last owner provided a golf kart, beach chair service, 25 beach towels, & a lower cost per night. There was 5 or 6 doors not working, upon arrival locksmith was there for 90 mins working on them right on arrival, then had to come back another 3 times during stay. There's a rat the size of a small cat living in pool area, there was a lot of dirty dishes in cubbard, all garbage cans were full upon arrival and stayed that way for next 3 days, knives coming out of their sheeves creating a safety situation, 2 broken chairs., ice machine barely working, the couch pillows were so bad & the other chairs had no pillows, spend a little money home goods & get couch pillows And so many other things that made our stay not desirable This is fun beautiful home that has been let go, it's so sad because can be a home for many memories for families”

“Booked it for the weekend of 4th of July. Very lucky to have gotten it available, and knew it would be a busy area due to the holiday. Love rentals was super helpful throughout but realized there is a sort of communication discrepancy between Love rentals and the local property managers. The listing showed a BBQ grill on the patio which I planned the 4th of July dinner for. Upon arrival found no grill on site. Also once arriving I found that the parking for the units is not reserved, and are first come first serve. While also being first come first serve I was surprised with an undisclosed 50$ fee for temporary parking and amenities use that I had to physically go to the Keys HOA building to obtain. Through all these issues Love rentals was very quick to respond but I found quickly that these issues were due to the local manager that was much less helpful. Beautiful location and still enjoyed the holiday but definitely had some shortcomings.”

“The listing heavily promoted it as a "paradise," and that was honestly the main reason we chose to book this property. In reality, it looked nothing like the photos. The outdoor area was poorly maintained, uninviting, and completely misrepresented. For example, multiple lounge chairs and beach chairs were broken and unusable. All of the outdoor cushions and towels were horrendously stained, which made them feel unsanitary and unusable. There were dead plants mixed in with obvious fake plants, which made the space feel neglected rather than luxurious. There were also dangerously sharp, unmaintained cacti — I actually scraped my arm on one, which could have been avoided if the area was properly cared for. Pool lights didn’t work, fire pit didn’t work. Ice maker was filthy and rusty. I would strongly recommend that the host update their listing to accurately reflect the current condition and properly maintain the property for future guests. Overall false advertising!! Be warned!”
