“what a view! This Airbnb definitely was stocked and great for parties of 8! Large and spacious/ comfortable. With no traffic, we breezed 7 min to downtown Leavenworth worth but in bumper to bumper Sunday 12:00 traffic it took 20 min to get to downtown Leavenworth. Safeway grocery store was close for groceries/ gas. If you are expecting to hear the river, you don’t hear it because the porch/ hot tub/ fire pit area sits high and away. You do hear the expressway from the porch. I’m not complaining, I’m just stating while you sit on the back porch eating dinner, socializing, reading a book, sunbathing you hear the expressway and not the sounds of a river/ babbling brook type of sound machine. So do not book this airbnb if you are looking for that quintessential “running river sound” while reading a book. We walked down to the grass to access the river- There is no river access. I would have to go to the store- buy gardening gloves- and weed the natural wildflowers back to access the river”

“Lovely place, clean, nice beds, great A/C. Great location, near hikes. you can hear the highway traffic from one of the bedrooms, and you are in a second floor so you never know if the person upstairs will be noisy”

“You’re paying for the location and view. The place is kind of worn out. The hot tub cover was totally gross and had stuff rub off on me. Random clutter of things. We got there late and there was no heat on and it was absolutely freezing (we are from Michigan so used to cold) and there are so many buttons and such to figure out getting the heat on. Not great when showing up tired and late.”

“I reported large amount of ants in the space. My two sons tried to kill the ants first hour of checking in. Mid night large carpenter ant climbed up my wife face waking her up and she could not sleep well after. I reported to agent. Agent basically told nothing they could do. I know something can be done, that is called pest control. I fell hard on the hardwood floor from the stairs. I suggested to place a motion detect light on the very last of step. With these two incident, owner decided to offer no partial refund. I am seasoned travelers and almost never complains. The fact they charge so high yet do nothing after incidents happened just sound so greedy to me. I had to let travelers know this listing is not worth the price or not safe to stay due to excessive ants and owner refuse to take action. The furniture can use some good shampooing.”
