Life In Paradise Vacation Rentals

Life In Paradise Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.63 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The building definitely needs better signage, it’s really loud here. The neighbors, people upstairs, the bar next to the building. People wandering around drunk, smoking weed in the parking lot. Not real convenient if you have dogs. Also make sure you bring your own toilet paper and paper towels because they won’t give you any extra. I called the company with my concerns and Carlos was suppose to call me back, it never happened. The dishes provided were dirty, and there was clumps of hair by the couch. The bed was super comfortable. It did get stuffy inside the unit due not being able to turn the AC down lower than 72 due to the unit freezing.

The only reason I gave it low stars is because we asked several times for clean sheets for the bed and we never received them. Couldn’t sleep in one of the beds.

It was a beautiful hidden gem. Although the listing said it offered a golf cart and it didn’t. I will definitely be going back and the heated pool felt amazing.

Location was great, building doesn't look so great when first arriving but the units are nice, entered into unit and noticed coffee table very unstable and wobbly. Dishwasher was broken and did not clean dishes other than those two things stay was very enjoyable. OH, Absolutely did not like the digital laundry mat. poor cleaning and it owes me money.

First I wasn’t happy that once we arrived there were two wash cloths for 3 people to use. They had no beach items which would have been nice to know ahead of time (beach towels, toys, etc). Thankfully we brought our beach towels. The door was extremely hard to open. The sink and tub drained slow. The dishwasher also smelled like something dead. The pool was nice and had plenty of seating! Over all the condo was clean and just a short walk to the beach.

Overall I would say the stay wasn’t terrible. But the location did not have the greatest signage so we ended up passing it. The outside was a little questionable but inside the gate was nice. The pool was nice as well! I would say that I’m somewhat of clean freak and had to sweep every chance I could because of the sand lol when I swept the first night I noticed that the floors were not the cleanest-not all from what we brought back with us from the beach. Not that big of a deal though. The bathroom and bedrooms were nice! We definitely could have been given a few more towels but again, I wasn’t too worried about it. The one thing I had an issue with was the kitchen. The dishes were not clean whatsoever. The drawers had crumbs and residue of food. And the brush they wanted us to use to wash the dishes with had hair in it. I definitely was not pleased with that. However I just went to the dollar store down the road and grabbed a new sponge and called it a day.

The house is beautiful, easy to get to, we loved the elevator and hot tub. The AC was out on the 3rd floor, which we notified them upon our arrival. They said they'd send someone to look at it, upon returning from the beach, we discovered the dryer was not drying the clothes. We notified the rental company. We maintenance finally showed up around 10 am the next day we asked them to look at the dryer after fixing the AC. They couldn’t locate the dryer vent and so we did not have a working dryer the entire stay. With small children and multiple adults it was frustrating to use wet towels all weekend. The house is beautiful but the rental company did not respond in a timely manner, this the reason for the low stars. I contacted them for a partial refund and they have yet to respond.

Unfortunately, our stay at Life In Paradise Vacation Rental Beach House was disappointing, especially for the amount we paid. During our stay, we dealt with several issues including the AC not working the first night, the bathtub flooding and leaking through the kitchen ceiling, concerns about using the bathrooms afterward, and damage to one of the bunk beds upon arrival. While some issues were eventually addressed, the overall experience caused a lot of stress during what was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation. I communicated respectfully with the host throughout the stay but unfortunately never received any follow-up regarding my concerns. I understand issues can happen, but overall I was not satisfied with the condition of the property.

We were extremely disappointed with the condition of this home upon arrival. The property was not accurately represented in the listing, and several issues raised serious safety and habitability concerns for our family. We found evidence of mold, rotting doorframes, exposed electrical outlets, exterior doors with severely rusted or missing doorknobs, and bunk beds that were unstable due to missing screws. We documented everything and contacted the hosts as we also left the home and stayed elsewhere. Unfortunately, the host denied our refund request and eventually stopped responding altogether. We then escalated the issue to Airbnb support. To Airbnb’s credit, after reviewing the documentation and condition of the property, they ultimately refunded us in full. The entire situation was stressful and not at all what we expected when booking this home. This property needs to be removed entirely until all of the issues are addressed, and this management company needs new leadership.

You aren’t allowed to park in the garages and that’s not mentioned in the description. There’s mold growing in the garage level “suite”. Pans are old and scratched. Rust on fridge, dishwasher and in the kid room tub. MASSIVE loud window “Bandaid fix” air condition units that sound like a jet engine. Stains on the couch. Stairs were COVERED in bird poop and so was the pool. It’s a no for me
