“Yall were totally amazing. There was quite a bit of dust throughout the house. The kitchen also was a little rough. The pans are pretty banged up and we ended up giving up on cooking because everything stuck to it, also a few of the chairs were very unstable and one was broken as I told yall. But the biggest bummer was that there was no couch downstairs and that made it hard to hangout because the metal chairs are ok for short time but after awhile it’s hard to sit on. But overall so thankful for yall and the house it was perfect setting for the bachelorette and the locations yall recommended were awesome. Close to everything and so great. Thank yall so much for allowing us into your home.”

“We had a great stay at Sunflower! The house was spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful little amenities throughout the house—things like dish soap, facial towelettes, moisturizer, etc The outdoor area was great, and check-in and check-out were both simple with clear instructions. The house is an easy walk to the beach and conveniently located close to everything in Port A. We would definitely stay at Sunflower again!”

“Usually not to one to complain but was expecting better and was hoping previous reviews were wrong/ had been corrected . House location was good there are things to do nearby however , a lot of issues in the house . AC was not cooling so main areas were hot our whole stay . Maintenance had to put window units in each room first night at midnight after 2 calls that took up most walkable spaces in the rooms . One toilet handle didn’t work in one restroom. Water pressure in other restroom was lacking . Washer had mold inside . Floors and table were sticky the whole time. At that point we didn’t complain considering AC issue wasn’t addressed. We had an ac tech come second day and say “need to get with owner for the main issue to get fixed ” and we have yet to hear back after three nights. Overall the best part of stay was the cart and mainly because it got us out of the house. We were a group of 12 . Believe the reviews.”

“Other than multiple issues with the golf cart everything was as advertised. So nice having a private pool and backyard games!”

“I was surprised there are not enough bath towels and no beach towels available for guest. If no towels would appreciate laundry detergent.”

“We had a few issues that were handled promptly by maintenance. Horrendous smell coming from the kitchen sink, maintenance came out twice for the issue. AC was not working the first day. Maintenance came out and said that the AC was 3 lbs low, they serviced it and it was good the rest of the time. However. It is apparent that it is/has been a problem for a long time. The drip pan was overflowing and going through the Sheetrock into the garage. The floor has obvious water stains from the AC and the ac closest had several CO2 cartridges (maintenance says they use it to clean the lines). If you have lots of items I suggest requesting the elevator because the living room is on the 3rd floor. There was a rusted L bracket on the 3rd floor balcony. (we told maintenance) Use caution with the railing. -there was no broom in the house- That makes it hard to clean up sand. The rooftop was awesome. Location-awesome. Overall great stay. Thankful that maintenance was responsive.”

“We like the upstairs but we’re unable to use the downstairs apartment due to being too warm. The temp was 83 when we got there and reported it. Also too warm upstairs. They can out the next morning and the top cooled but the downstairs never got below 78. The range would also not work so had to call when we tried to cook. Repaired quickly. TVs in the bedrooms didn’t work properly as well.”

“We had a wonderful stay! The location was fantastic, with easy, direct access to the beach while still being close to town for entertainment, shopping, and great meals. The community had so many wonderful amenities, including a community pool, adults-only pool, golf cart rentals, and plenty of activities for everyone. It was a quiet, beautiful community, and we especially enjoyed just getting out and driving around to take in everything the area had to offer. We had a family ranging in age from 1 to 80, and there truly was something for everyone! The house itself was gorgeous, spacious, and very clean. Communication with management was easy, and they were readily available to answer any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this property for a family getaway. There is also additional information available directly through the management company’s website, which is a great resource when planning your stay or even for direct booking.”
