Let's Get Away Properties's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“House was good. Dirty when we arrived cleaned it ourselves, vacuumed and moped no dish towels bought those ourselves and paper towels only had half a roll on the property. Good location 2 min from the store.”airbnb

“It was a nice place but carpet was pretty dirty. The washer machine smells like mold pretty bad, which in turn makes the towels and sheets smell the same. Nice place for convenience in walking, but they shouldn’t wash the towels and sheets in that washer and then put them on the beds. We took shoes off like asked but stains on the carpet. Also the walls could use a touch up on paint. Mattresses weren’t very comfortable as well. For the price, I get it was a holiday weekend, but I’d probably stay somewhere else. We use Airbnb’s all the time and this was by far the most mediocre place.”airbnb

“Location was great, balcony was nice. I would never return cost was not worth it. Bedrooms were deceiving. There are not five bedrooms. There are only four. The toilet downstairs is broken. The breakers went out and we had no air-conditioning and luckily found it before we lost a whole fridge full of food. Lighter on the barbecue does not work. No shampoo, cream, rinse or conditioner no body wash. The screen on the downstairs door was taped together, which quickly broke because the wind blew it when you opened the door To pay that much money for three nights, the amenities were poor location was great”airbnb

“We were over charged for the stay. The nightly rate went from around 800 and some to 1100 and nobody was ever able to give us an explanation. I wouldn't have paid that amount for that house.”airbnb

“We enjoyed our 3 day stay here. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were so soft. We loved having A/C to cool ourselves down after a long day at the beach. The ceiling fans in the living room and the master bedroom were so nice. We also enjoyed the peaceful view of the lake from the deck every morning. The kitchen was well stocked. This home had everything we needed! At night, there were a lot of gnats in the area and they were able to get in through the screen. We left one of the bedroom windows open for 15 minutes and when we came back into the room, there were soooo many gnats on the ceiling! So we recommend not opening the windows at night :)”airbnb

“The floors were unswept and sticky. Towels were left in both the washer and the dryer. The dishwasher was not unloaded, so we did it. There were no blackout curtains and the window coverings were severely inadequate. The air conditioner was not working and the host did not respond in time to try and get it fixed, so we ended up leaving early. The condo itself is nice, and it's in a good location, but this one was certainly not worth it to stay.”airbnb

“This listing is for “waters edge” and beach access. The water (beach) is about a block away from the building and once you get there you’ll be attacked by biting deer flies. They failed to mention the active construction less than 100 ft from the patio. We had NO cell service in the unit and the WiFi was junk. The master bedroom was infested with spiders and there was a dead brown recluse on a patio car. We notified the owner many times only to be put off for days. Eventually 4 people ended up spending multiple nights in 1 small bedroom due to the unsafe sleeping conditions of the master bedroom. Due to no vacancy at any other air bnb or hotel in the area we stuck it out. Staying here was terrible, not worth the price and not worth the hassle. 0/10 would never recommend.”airbnb

“If you’re looking for a place that’s squeaky clean, this probably isn’t it. If it was super cheap, I probably would have lowered my expectations, but it wasn’t. Hair in the bathroom sinks, hair on bed pillows. Sliding glass door and windows were disgusting. Grimy light switches. Crumbs on the couch. The kitchen had crumbs on the counter and counters hadn’t been whipped off very well. Floors were dusty. Bird poo all over the windows towards the lake and steps on the back. The driveway and parking areas are all weedy and have stickers that get in your shoes.”airbnb

“This was the second time we've stay at this property. We like the location and the set up of the unit but this unit needs some attention. I can tell the wear & tear on this unit over the two years. Toilet chains were broken, the toilet flush handle in the mater bath felt as if it would break off. Not sure if it was worth the $$$ I paid this time. I probably won't stay here again. We come to Bear Lake 2X every summer.”airbnb

“Bear lake which is a short walk or drive is absolutely beautiful and the property was in a good location if you’re looking for lake days. The property itself is a little dated but really needs some things replacing- the cushions on the couch in the living room would fall off (I assume because it’s so old) the fridge was difficult to open because it kept sticking and the towel rail kept falling down. I had read in previous reviews about small things that needed fixing so I was surprised that they hadn’t been taken care of. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep this is a fine place but if you want somewhere to relax in the evening maybe try somewhere else. The neighbors were super loud one night which made rest difficult. The beds were comfy and the jacuzzi bath was very nice. Not a whole lot to do locally but having the grocery store close by was great.”airbnb
