Manager Review

Lazy River Rentals

Lazy River Rentals's guest rating of 4.69 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Centrally located, fabulous accommodations, pet friendly, right where you want to be for to access the beach, boardwalk, restaurants, carnival, night life, and shopping. Safe and clean. Highly recommend! Thank you!!

Overall this was a very solid stay for our quick weekend trip. The location is unbeatable as it is right off the boardwalk. Parking was easy and accessible. The only thing to be aware of is that the walls are very thin so how your neighbors act depends on how peaceful your stay might be. Great stay for sure!

The location is amazing! You’re right next to the boardwalk and it’s also private and has a nice outdoor space. Was clean a great parking.

Let me start but saying they were very accommodating with early check in and responded quickly to messages. However the unit is old and needs updating. Had a bit of a smell to it and the bathrooms weren’t cleaned very well either. All of this was not unbearable. I was celebrating my father’s 90th birthday and also brought my young 2 yr old son. My son found a DILDO under a nightstand. I was speechless. My handler seemed very concerned but when I spoke to the person in change via Airbnb they seemed unphased and offered to return a cleaning fee which Airbnb never changed me anyway. They seem to be used to this type of thing I guess. I highly recommend families stay elsewhere. If you’re young and want to party sure but otherwise no. I have pictures to share but Airbnb does not let me post them.

Numerous up charging messages and demands for a contract. No amenities - not even bathroom soap. Very poor parking arrangement. A very dangerous tub for slip and falls. Noise from the location and other clients above adjacent apartments. Overall, very excessive price for service received and downright unhospitable.

Pretty nice place for a good price. Cleaning could’ve been better, lots of dust and stove was very dirty on the inside causing the smoke detector to go off constantly while cooking. One thing that is not noted is that there is a $500 security deposit for the parking permit. I had to reach out a couple times after the stay to get this deposit back.

It was not known until AFTER work was initiated, that the management had work scheduled. Said work was beneath the house (my bedroom), beginning by 7-8AM. I was there to get rest and was instead for about 5 days, woken before 8am. We were notified a day after it had begun.. When the storm caused an electrical outage, he did not reach out. I had been notified through JCPL website. We weren’t provided any snow removal or even an ice melt or sand for the ice. We had to light the stovetop as the pilots had not been working. Several times, we had smelled gas because the dials were loose. We were told that they have a new one being installed. They needed to do all of this work before allowing it to be rented out, not as an afterthought when their payment came in. As a property manager myself, I would never have put a family in this house until I had made repairs, not after they have left.
