“Spacious, enough room for 6 people to not feel on top of each other. There are some things that could definitely be updated and be careful when sitting outside around the fire pit, it’s all very nice but on a hill, if you are older or unstable when walking it could be unsafe. Overall great long weekend with my adult children and their significant others.”

“There was rat poison in between the cushions that we had to vacuum up ourselves within 20 mins of arrival as we had a 2 year old toddler. When we arrived the thermostat was set to 90 so it was scorching hot! I messaged owner and nothing. Place smellled mildewy and mold was found on vent, which I also cleaned”

“Our stay at the cabin was great! Everything was prepared and clean, the only downside was not being able to use the hot tub due to the storms but regardless a wonderful stay!!”

“The Cabin was beautiful and spacious. Loved how we weren't really close to any other cabins. The hottub was a great way to relax at night. Only complain I have was some appliances wasn't clean so we had to clean before we used. The grill we could tell has not been cleaned The knob on the door with the code was hard to get in like the knob was loose and needs to be tightened. And the tv was on when we got there and lights . Otherwise it was a nice place to stay . Close to everything”

“We stayed in the rustic way cabin in McArthur OH Memorial Day weekend 2026 for a weekend trip to hocking hills. Our first night there we discovered bed bugs!!! We contacted lazy lane and they thanked us for letting them know and said they would inspect and treat the cabin. We requested our money back through the Airbnb app and got the max amount allowed. There were very few dishes provided, the downstairs tv didn’t work the tv in the bedroom wasn’t hooked up to anything. The dryer was broken so we couldn’t heat treat our things before we went home. The yard hadn’t been cut in a few weeks. Very few instructions for the house like WiFi instructions, how they wanted us to leave things. It was a disappointment for sure. The place has potential but we’ll never stay with lazy lane again.”

“The cabin was in a great location, it was secluded & offered nice hiking trails on the property. The balcony was great for enjoying evenings while taking in the fresh cool air. The spa was also nice & enjoyable. That's where good ends. For the price I paid, it wasn't worth it. The upstairs had a funky smell, as well as the couch in the living room. Looking at the couch, you can tell that it has not been cleaned in quite a few years. I could feel the years of build up of dust and whatever else each time I sat down on it. There were a lot of rules which I get, but also charging a cleaning fee when one of the rules was to clean up after yourselves and take out the trash? Was the cleaning fee just so someone could come and wash towels and change sheets? I think the money would have been best spent doing deep cleans of the carpet & couches, as the smell was quite noticeable. I could have looked past all of this if the price was $200 - $300 less. Would not recommend at the prices offered.”

“I want to start by saying the pictures matched perfectly & we enjoyed the outside area with hot tub and fire pit. After arriving though, we had some complaints with the way housekeeping cleaned the cabin and the fact that we couldn't take longer than a 10 min shower and that the shower had kept randomly pouring out water when not in use. When brought to the host attention they just said they would let maintenance know. Didn't really help us with being able to shower without rushing or the fact we continued to be woken up by water pouring out of the shower head. Housekeeping seemed to be carless about cleaning. We found dirty utensils in the drawer, hair from someone shaving in the shower on the ledge, small stains on bedsheets and an absolutely disgusting microwave. Overall, the pictures matched the description, and we would've loved to give more stars if we felt like the place was cleaned well and if the water issues were met with a little more concern.”
