“I've been going to orcas off and on for 50 years and always stay at the beach, so staying in town felt like it would be a compromise but I have to say this was one of my best airbnb experiences ever, would absolutely stay there again. The location is right in Eastsound so walkable to everything. The place was the perfect layout for our family, beautiful indoor and out door spaces (patio AND balcony). They had absolutely everything you might expect in the kitchen, and then some, the host left info and samples from local businesses and responded immediately when I had a question.”

“Fantastic accommodations with a beautiful yard and peekaboo water view. Very close to town (walkable in under an hour) but also quiet and peaceful with a lovely little beach to relax on. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking breakfasts and burgers. This was a great place for an intergenerational family vacation. My young son was stoked to have his own bed in his own bedroom - and my mother used the office for watercolor painting. Kristen was very attentive. We hope to return!”

“What a wonderful and peaceful place to stay. Kristen, the host, is fabulous. She is super responsive and so thoughtful. The house was very comfortable and clean. We brought lawn games and enjoyed playing them in the orchard. The location is perfect and within walking distance to the main part of Eastsound (which has amazing cafes and bakeries).”

“The host had great communication, quick responses, and helpful recommendations. We were even able to check in early. The home was clean, helpful amenities like the sunshade, and fans! The home had everything we needed and we felt very comfortable there. The view is beautiful but you are not as close to the water as I thought. The location is great, right in the middle of the island and the main town is 5 min away. The only bad thing is the airport is very close and it’s loud every 10-15 minutes. There’s also a rooster that crows at 4 in the morning and or a dog that starts barking around the same time. So, a vacation sleep in was a bit difficult. Overall, a nice home, clean, great location.”

“Our family of five (two adults, two kids, and a dog) had a wonderful stay at Kristen’s house. We had plenty of space, everything we needed to cook our meals, washer/dryer to do laundry, and a beautiful fenced in yard for our dog. The property gave us access to a gorgeous private beach with Mt. Baker views as well as a tennis court. It was such a joy to spend a few days here - we hope to come back!”
