Kona Coast Vacations's guest rating of 4.80 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“This unit was just like the pictures. Nicely decorated and a newer kitchen. However there were a couple hiccups. The air wasn’t turned on until just before we got there and it was 85° inside. It felt slightly better outside than it did inside. It took about 6 hours or so for it to finally cool down. Secondly, we did see a few small roaches (perhaps water roaches, I don’t know) in the kitchen. They did have a bug spray in the laundry room so I believe they’re aware of the issue. My parents stayed in another unit in the same complex and didn’t see any creepy crawlers inside of their unit. I also wish they had a few cleaning supplies in the closet as we like to wipe the countertops down nightly especially when staying for more than a day or two. We stayed for 6 nights. Other than those few things, it was just like the pictures. Hope this helps others.”airbnb

“My family and I had such a wonderful time on the Big Island, and I’d say a huge part of our experience was because of these beautiful accommodations. The home was exactly as described—if not better! It was clean, spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and truly felt like a home away from home. You could tell so much thought and care went into all the little details, which made our stay even more special. The location was also fantastic—within walking distance to everything we needed. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% stay here again when we return to the Big Island. Highly recommend!”airbnb

“Liked the place and the location, but hot at night as the AC makes noice, and without it the fans have a hard time to keep it comfy”airbnb

“Good stay, we enjoyed it very much. Beautiful views!! And great location with pool. There were not space for seven people though, since one had to sleep on the couch which was not in the description. The extra bed was also not made, and we had to search for sheets etc even though we had let them know beforehand there were seven people coming. An AC would be a good investment for the future.”airbnb

“We booked this about a year ago for our honeymoon. I want to be honest and balanced, there were some concerns that if I were looking at reviews I would want to know since the last review before this was 2021. There are two flights of stairs if you have heavy suitcases, we are both able bodied but worth noting for others. Cancellation policy is not flexible truly, you only have 24 hours and then you only get HALF the amount back after that, most give you a month before, full money back. We booked this a year in advance, so just be mindful of this. When we booked it stated construction was done on the building, so we kept it booked. Unfortunately there was construction ongoing and no notice from hosts. There was also tree removal without notice, men in hard hats and debris flying around, which impacted the pool. Host responsive, larger company The ac is only 4 hours, made it hard at night for 8 hour sleep Parking, view is great, good location, laundry, kitchen is stocked, beach items”airbnb

“The condo was fine; maintained well overall and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The pool was excellent; lagoon style, clean and heated. The location is good for all things Waikoloa. :) Cons: The check in process is limited to a 2 hour window so it’s a bit problematic if you need flexibility. The air-conditioning never seemed to really turn on and given the excess plug in fans in our bedroom this may be a recurring issue. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed that squeaks loudly every time you move. It is terribly uncomfortable and hard. For the price (and clearly corporate rules and regulations) I expect hotel quality beds.”airbnb

“We stayed a week for a wedding and had a great time. Most of our friends and family stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village and it was easily walkable. Comfortable beds, good showers, just enough for amenities for cooking some meals at home and eating out for others. Great view and a peaceful patio! Checkin process was not clear and the management company was closed by the time we arrived, so getting in touch with them was very difficult. Thankfully the maintenance crew was able to get us in and everything went smoothly from there!”airbnb
