“It was great! We had a wonderful time, right by the beach. We had 2 very small issues. First was finding the place, the service is very poor there so just make sure you have the map they send you before check in screenshotted. The second was parking, it is advertised 2 parking spots, 1 is in the garage, the 2nd is directly outside the garage. The garage was full of bikes and chairs and other things. We were able to move things around and fit out car in there. I felt prior to booking that was not communicated well enough, but it all worked out in the end. We had a great stay.”

“Excellent Location! Right in the action of Pacific City and a short 15 minute walk to Pelican Brewing. The space was perfect for 4 of us and 2 dogs. The walking trails in the neighborhood are great.”

“very cozy house, easy beach access, provided bikes and chairs for the beach, there were also places near by for activities and food which was very convenient, overall nice house to have a little get away with family”

“The Cargo Cove filled our need for a coastal retreat destination in the greater Pacific City area. A short walk to the beach to witness the wonders of May (the negative morning tide, afternoon wind storm with hope of whale sightings, or an evening sunset) and equidistant to town or to the local Mt Bike park. While we sought a house on the beach that was dog friendly, the tranquil views into the forest were a worthwhile trade with opportunity to observe a black bear while she foraged on salal flowers. It was a joyful stay. We’ll definitely book this place again.”

“Amazing space. Super clean and will probably come back again. The only thing that was tough for us was a non flexible check in. Would have been nice to have been able to be let in a little earlier than 4pm. Overall great place.”

“Great get away spot. The house was cool, lots of things in the kitchen to use. Didn’t feel how the pictures made it look, almost felt and smelt like I was in a boat. Lots an animal hair in bed sheets and on couch, almost like those areas were missed when cleaned. Limited bath soap and toiletries, so make sure to bring some. Was a cute little house though, would give it a second try.”

“The location is lovely! Beautiful view, located on a dead end road. Hot tub was perfect! The place is super cute and functional, though it is in need of a serious deep clean. Ants were all over in the kitchen and found some in the bathroom as well. Though we do understand Spring tends to bring pests out, it's also important to be proactive during this time of year. Garbage and old food from past guests was seen behind and beneath the couch recliners. A welcome mat for pests. Also, the coffee provided was expired by two years. Once given the attention this cute little rental deserves, it would be be a 5 🌟!”
