Kingfisher Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.79 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“I really enjoyed my stay at the Baywatch Cabina. The cabin was clean, quiet, and well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. My absolute favorite feature was the backyard dock access. I used it every morning to paddle out into the bay, where I even got to see manatees! The only downside was the squeaky bed and the loud fridge motor at night. Because it is a studio-style cabin with the fridge in the main room, light sleepers like myself might find themselves waking up during the night. While it isn't a dealbreaker for most, it did impact my sleep. Overall, it was a great place that suited my needs perfectly, and I would still recommend it.”airbnb

“We had a great week, beautiful beach access, the condo is in a great spot, multiple restaurants in short walking distance. Beautiful sunsets and dolphins in the water. We really recommend staying in this property.”airbnb

“Our group felt at home and had a great time. Super walkable to shops, restaurants, activities, and the beach. The pool was a huge hit, too. The beds and the space were comfortable. It was super helpful to have the wagon to pull stuff to the beach. The beach umbrellas were wonderful to have, along with plenty of beach chairs. It is hard to know ahead of time what extras (pantry items, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, ziplock bags) will be available when booking an Airbnb; plan to bring all of your own. Otherwise, the kitchen was well equipped.”airbnb

“I would like to start off by saying, the panoramic view of the ocean is quite beautiful. Osprey, manatees, and plenty of other wildlife can be viewed from the lanai. I didn't give a 5 star review for the following. Although they are great at responding, the instructions/information given wasn't always accurate. While traveling with children I asked about a tub, laundry, beach accessories, and pool access. I was advised the unit didn't have a tub, it does. The laundry was said to be coin operated on the first floor, its not, its available in this unit. The pool access code given was wrong. The beach accessories are not actually in the unit but rather found on the first floor in a locker. (We didn't bother to go searching for the locker). Overall, the stay was great. The kitchen was stocked. (Bring your own Kcups if you drink coffee) The condo was pretty clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud.”airbnb

“We were basically satisfied with the house and it was a nice private location although a little farther out than we are used to staying so definitely need to have a car if staying there… Check-in was easy and had pretty much everything we needed… We had a few issues With some kind of alarm going off the whole first day and some septic issues… The house was pretty much as described and nothing fancy but we were totally fine with the older furnishings. The house does need some upkeep with the main thing being the poor conditions of the deck… some of the boards were sticking up and could easily cause foot injury or trap hazard, and some felt like they were actually soft and seemed unsafe. We contacted the host about the alarm and the septic issues and they did eventually get the alarm turned off, but they were slow to respond.”airbnb

“We had 4 guests for four days, we’re only given one towel for each guest, told to wash them ourselves. No dish soap. Elevator stopped working day 2, was 12 hours before we re dived a response. Number in the room went to a full voicemail. Email listed in the room came back as an error. No instructions for checking out. Beautiful place, but poor communication.”airbnb

“I highly recommend this condo, especially if you are coming with kids. I wish the listing would have been more accurate about the amenities provided, because there was a pack 'n play (no sheets), toys, toddler toilet seats, step stools, kids cups and plates, and books provided. Unfortunately, we didn't know there was a pack 'n play so I had paid for and set up for baby rental equipment that was not needed. There were basic essentials provided, but no hand soap and when I asked I was told they did not provide this which seemed odd to me. We had a great time in this condo though. It was an easy walk to the beach and pool, which were great! The screened-in lanai was perfect.”airbnb

“We LOVED Sanibel and Loggerhead Cay, however, this management company had issues with their cleaning staff and their ability to adequately clean the unit. This is the only reason they are getting a 4-star. The condo complex is great - stairs and elevators, plenty of bike racks, pool was clean and warm, the beach was very close, and lastly I dont think there is a better spot along the beach where you could stay and have as easy biking access to all of the shops and restaurants on the island. The unit is very nice - a little dated on the decor but very beachy and felt spacious. We never heard any of the neighbors which was nice too. The kitchen was decently equipped, the patio was nice and the fans and A/C kept up to keep it comfortable. The provided some beach/pool toys, nice chairs and umbrellas, and a wagon to haul it all to the beach with 👍 The rainfall showers were a great luxury touch. I would bring more of my own soap/shampoo/lotion next time - they don’t provide much.”airbnb

“I was very disappointed, it was listed that it had an elevator which it did have, but we could not use it. The Number 1 reason I rented the house was because of the elevator because I have trouble going up and downstairs. We also had an issue where it got cold during the week and we called to get the heat turned on and no one ever came. We were freezing for three days without any heat in the house. Other than that the house was beautiful had lots of amenities and we were very comfortable.”airbnb
