“Wonderful place to stay. Our toddler had so much fun and we were able to enjoy ourselves as well. The cabin was clean and we appreciated all of the activities to keep ourselves busy in the evenings. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!”

“Our large group of 12 was very comfortable at this property. We enjoyed the ability to sit and eat together at the large tables, as well as coffee in the morning on the balcony with plenty of outdoor chairs. The beds were comfortable, and the three bathrooms were enough to accommodate all the women trying to get ready for dinner on Saturday night. All in all - a great place and would 100% stay again!”

“This place is fantastic. The kitchen and dining area are perfect for a large group. The bedrooms are comfortable, each with its own bathroom. I also love that there is a kids' room (with games and TV) with plenty of space for them to play. We had a great time. Highly recommend.”

“Enjoyable and relaxing stay. No issues with nosy or noisy neighbors in adjoining rooms. Woke up every morning with the sunshine and enjoyed the views waterfront views from the patio. Lots to do in the surrounding areas. Plenty of good places to eat. We will definitely book here in the future.”

“What a great place to stay during MTU summer orientation. The location was absolutely perfect, right on the canal and close to town and a short drive to MTU. The home exceeded our expectations!! Everything was clean and well appointed. The patio overlooking the canal was lovely to sit and have coffee in the morning. Had all the essentials. It was larger than expected as we didn't realize the bedroom was separate from the living space (we had envisioned more like a hotel) so we were pleasantly surprised to find a very spacious bedroom with two queen beds. There were wardrobes on each side of the room to put our clothes and they even had charging cords attached to the lamps next to the beds. There was a sauna right in the unit and clear instructions on how to use it. There was a washer and dryer as well. The bathroom was great! Separate room for the shower and toilet so multiple people could get ready in the morning at the same time. We loved our stay and would stay again!”

“Perfect place if you just need a place to sleep. No frills here, so ideal for a trip where most of the time won’t be spent at the Airbnb. Bed and couch are not the most comfortable so just be prepared. The fenced in backyard is nice if you have a dog!”

“This location is absolutely beautiful and the cabins are very nice. We ran into a few small issues during our trip but it was nothing maintenance couldn’t fix. Staff is friendly and communicative and made us feel appreciated. Can’t get better views than here in Houghton.”
