Manager Review

KEES Travel

KEES Travel's guest rating of 4.53 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The space matched the description. Host never sent check-in instructions the day before and never answered after we booked the stay. Bring your own pans and utensils. Expect the AC to take a while to cool down. The community pool had floats that were free to use which was nice. You’re away from the hustle and bustle of the city center but do expect to hear cars racing by in the early hours. All in all it was a solid place to spend a weekend.

Had a great time staying at Coconut Mallory in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite with a balcony. Overall it was a great place to stay. 2 pools, a hot tub. Beautiful view of the marina. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the marina which was a bonus. Everything in Key West was within a 10 minute drive. Very laid back environment, had no issues with other guests or tenants. Everyone that we met on the grounds was very friendly. There was an elevator for our building, and a shared laundry for washing and drying, which was right outside our room on the 2nd floor. They do not supply extra garbage bags, we only had the one that was in the can, no extras. Only one roll of paper towel in kitchen. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom for a 7 night stay. It was clean, but could use a deep clean. The floors made our socks and feet black. The showers/tub could use an update. We had a late check in and there was some confusion on how to get our keys upon arrival.

Great place but not a true resort due to you have to wash your towels and no maid services at all other than that very pleasant

not a resort more like a self service gas station you have to wash your room towels and sheets and pay for it

Coconut Mallory is an awesome place to enjoy KeyWest. As a member we enjoy this place every year. Needed a second unit for all the adult children so we booked a unit 2 doors down from us. Somehow this unit was changed to a different floor and at the other end of the building. Obviously had a great time(we were in KeyWest) just can’t figure out why we didn’t get the unit we reserved.

Upon arriving at the obvious front office, it was obvious no one was there and a very small sign said "Go to Gumbo's". I walked clear thru the area and saw Gumbo's. I walked in there, no one around. I knocked on an obvious office door, no one answered. My daughter called the number on the first office door, she was able to contact someone who was also attempting to contact an office personnel. Total time spent walking, searching, and on the phone was about 15 mins. The person everyone was searching for walked in. She was not happy nor was she polite! After she took my deposit via CC, she asked me how long I waited, I said it's really not a problem, she responded "well it is for me, my boss called me so I want to know how long you waited for me cause I know it was not 5 mins. I saw where this was going, I asked her if there is a problem, she again responded hatefully "I told you it is my job". I walked away asking her to have a nice day. I guess she deserves this job?

Place was nice. Checkin woman was not real friendly. Also expected the restaurant and bar on the property to be open but it was not.

The listing needs updating: bikes must be rented, pool towels will not be laundered and replaced, your room will not be cleaned, you won’t get toiletries which are offered as an amenity, and parking is weird. The entire complex could use a little TLC. Surely for a room costing $550/ night the management could find some decent toilet paper and a box of tissues for the room. I may sound picky, but I don’t think the listing reflected the reality.

This is a timeshare in a older resort, we were told to wait by t he front desk attendant while she wasnt, doing anything. She then gave us the wrong room, a 1 bedroom studio. When I went back to the front desk she just laughed and said Oh, sorry, and laughed. The place is big and very clean, would be perfect for 2 couples. It is quit a hike from most restuarants and Duval Street. We had to Uber everywhere. I would suggest renting a car or golfcart if planning to go out. aveage uber will be $8-12 one way. The bar at the marina at the end of the condos is currently closed. Its a end unit next to the road and very noisy, trash runs at 5am and the dumping of the dumpster will surely wake you up. Once you get inside the place is great, identical to the pictures. Kitchen has limited pots and pans if you plan on cooking. I would stay here again and will recommend to myy friends.
