“Location is prime, very close to Poipu Beach, the place is spacious, clean”

“The resort grounds themselves were beautiful, and the onsite staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience with this privately owned unit and its management company was disappointing. The room was not in the best condition. The bathroom door could not close, and when we arrived, there were still wet ramen noodles on the living room floor. We also weren’t provided the access code at check in and had to go through several steps just to figure out how to get into our room. Before arriving, we specifically asked about the resort amenities and whether anything was closed or unavailable that would be helpful to know. We were assured everything was open and operating normally. However, the elevator in our building was not working, and the restaurant advertised was closed. I recommend visiting, but I would strongly encourage booking directly through the hotel rather than through this privately managed Airbnb unit.”

“Beautiful”

“We had a lovely time on this trip, and the setting had a lot to do with it. The view from the front of the home is stunning though, the primary bedroom lanai faces the parking lot. The pool was well kept, and the resort’s rental bikes were so much fun on the bike path. The home was very clean, but upgraded furniture that is a bit worn. There were some hiccups. The A/C need repair, and management knew about a water leak and spent the day working on it before we arrived, but didn’t tell us or offer anything for the trouble. The carpets were still so wet our feet got wet, and maintenance came back a day later with a very loud fan to dry. Outlets in both en suite bathrooms didn’t work, and the kitchen was minimal, with only 6 forks and no basic cooking or tea supplies (we were grateful for the bag of coffee!) Management responded quickly to messages. But, it wasn’t the owner-managed experience we’re used to, but with a few fixes this home could live up to its beautiful setting.”

“Jeanette from Exclusive Management was responsive and available. Great view but lots of service issues in 2E. Biggest was the Air conditioning unit stuck on full cold with wall thermostat blank. Was told to control it at the circuit breaker box. It began to work at end of day 2. The upstairs King "bedroom" is a large loft area with no door or separating wall. Its bathroom shower had a “chewed-off” water-damaged exterior baseboard. Various paint areas needed repair. It seemed that what was a renovation downstairs did not get completed upstairs. Downstairs had top appliances but issues including inoperative ice maker, drinking water faucet not connected, porch light flickering, multiple paint issues, etc. We did notify management. Bottom line is that the location offers a exceptional ocean view, but for $1,000/day the residence came up short on value and the "luxurious" experience description. We hope that these items are taken as constructive by management and corrected.”

“The space was great inside. It was nice to have 2 pull out beds to accommodate our whole family. One bedroom was upstairs the other downstairs so felt very spacious. The only issue was finding the building and the door to enter. The garage was below and to enter the house was on the 2nd story and just didn’t make sense the garage went to it? Lol very hard to find at night when the lighting isn’t great.”

“We loved our stay here. The area is beautiful and a close drive or walk to Poipu Beach. It’s also close to some of the many of the food places we wanted to eat at. Our family enjoyed our vacation here!”

“We really enjoyed our time here. The location was great, you could easily walk to the beach. The water pressure was very good and the pool was very nice too. You can see the ocean from there but not from the condo. Checking in was a little confusing as they have building 8 listed as the address but it's actually Building 6. And I had to message them for the code to get in. The air conditioning wasn't working upon arrival so after lugging all 7 of our bags uphill to get in- it was very HOT inside. My husband watched YouTube and did a reset on the system before their ac guy arrived about an hour later. I called and left a message and repeatedly asked them to call me through the messaging system but only got written responses. After we got it all working, the unit cooled down by about 10pm. We asked for an extra hour at checkout for the inconvenience and they said No- sorry. Overall the place was good, the hospitality could have been better.”
