“Great ocean front location with easy access to the beach. However central AC has been broken for weeks but we were NOT notified before arrival and given alternative options. Upstairs bedroom didn’t have any alternative cooling method other than fans so it got to 87F during the day and stayed above 80F throughout the evening. Decided to checkout early so we can sleep better…”

“This home had the potential to be quite lovely, but the descriptions online are a bit deceiving and the ac was a big problem. The actual AC appeared to be broken, so they decided to put in portable window units. Fine, but they were installed with painters tape and towels leaving gaps for bugs to get in and bite you in bed all night. You can’t close the blinds in the queen room because of the unit, therefore the sun will wake everyone up. The upstairs was so hot our guests couldn’t sleep. There were only shear curtains on the windows in the primary meaning again, your up with the sun. If we had known we would have booked elsewhere.”

“The condo and overall property in Kapaʻa were very nice, clean, and well maintained. We really enjoyed the location and accommodations. Unfortunately, our experience with Kauai Executive Management completely overshadowed the stay. About a week before arrival, we were notified that the elevator in our building was out of service. Since we had never stayed there before, we didn’t realize how inconvenient this would be. Carrying luggage and navigating multiple flights of stairs throughout the trip was extremely difficult. When we contacted management to ask about alternative accommodations, Jeannette was rude and dismissive. She claimed it was “only 20 stairs” (which was inaccurate) and told us to “just deal with it.” That response was unacceptable when addressing a legitimate concern. The 3 stars are solely for the condo and property. Due to the poor professionalism and customer service from Kauai Executive Management, we would not rent through them again.”

“The place was really pretty and very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The reason for 4 stars is it’s advertised that it comes with snorkel gear and beach towels, when I couldn’t find these items I reached out to management and they said they don’t offer those items. Also, there was only 1 bar of hand soap in the bathroom and nothing but dish soap for the kitchen. For what we paid, listing the accurate amenities and having hand soap would be nice. Minor inconveniences - aside from that it was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. I would stay here again”
