iTrip Vacations Alabama Beaches's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Vacation was good! Nice place, pretty clean. Had to wipe off the countertops but other than that it was good! The day we drive down we got a text that said bed bug inspection on day 2 of us being there. Would liked a heads up before hand. Hard to believe this wasn’t set up sooner to give us a heads up. Inspected and no sign of bed bugs, which is great but would have liked a heads up when it came to not having instructions on what to do with all our belongings before they checked. Other than that nice Place, great view! Would visit again with asking more questions about the time period of our stay and what was set up before like inspections”airbnb

“The toilet paper and paper towels were the cheapest you could buy. The bath towels were the cheapest you could buy and there were no wash cloths. The elevator was scary.”airbnb

“It was everything I expected but, parking was inconvenient because we had to look for someone to get our parking pass. We were told that the pass was on the kitchen counter and it was not. Other than that, the place was amazing”airbnb

“It’s a duplex! U have to share a grilling/sitting area downstairs with other people. So u might walk back from the beach and there be 10 people sitting in the chairs and table by your stairs. Not private at ALL. Pool was closed one day. Which sucked. I also had to wait 40 minutes to check in bc the maid was not done cleaning and when we finally got to go up at almost 5pm the floors had sand all over them. Not one rug in the entire house. If u from the city you will like it for the value. If u are used to privacy and land u will not like it, even for the value. There’s like an apartment complex that shares the pools. So crowded and bad kids throwing footballs at everyone. Honestly the beach and some guests were nice. But my sons could not wait to leave and we caught a state record breaking fish deep sea fishing. My sons both left a day early. Beach was nice, house was mid. Location is ok.”airbnb

“Don’t plan on bringing a lot of stuff to the beach, it’s about a mile long walk in total from the house to a place to set up on the beach, we got lucky and got access through a house across the street, beds are not comfy, ceiling fan in master about comes off the ceiling when turned on high(which was very much needed because AC is not efficient during summer months) , and the whole house shakes and sways when someone (170lb+) walks up the stairs, and there is no bed sheets for pull out mattress and pull out mattress had pee stains on the foot part of it, wouldn’t stay there again if I was given the option to stay for free for a week”airbnb

“Overall, a nice place. The location and proximity to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants is great. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of linens. A couple of things need replacing or to be fixed. The kitchen utensils and pans were in rough shape. The corner lazy Susan cabinet door was hanging off the hinges. The bathroom sinks were terribly clogged and took forever to drain. And the internet was so bad that the televisions hardly worked. Lastly, the pool was really warm, like bath water, and was consistently dirty. We never saw anyone clean it.”airbnb

“The location was definitely the highlight of this condo. Being at The Wharf made it convenient and easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The unit itself is quite small, with one bedroom, one bathroom, and bunk beds tucked into a closet area. Unfortunately, the condo was not as clean as we expected upon arrival. There were dirty towels left in the washing machine, and the TV was not working during our stay. While neither issue completely ruined our trip, they did impact our overall experience. We have typically had the best experiences when booking directly with individual owners, and this stay reinforced that preference for us. In the future, we will likely choose to book with individual hosts rather than a management company. The location was excellent, but overall the condo did not quite meet our expectations.”airbnb

“Great condo with amazing beach views, easy beach access, a pool, splash pad that my little ones loved, and pretty comfortable beds for being away from home. Overall we had a great stay. The biggest downside was the elevator situation. Only 4 elevators for a massive building, which often meant 20+ minute waits. Worse during peak check in/out times. Also, be prepared to truly bring everything. There was no hand soap, very limited supplies as stated in description. As Midwesterners, we weren’t used to vacation rentals being quite so bare-bones. The view and location were fantastic, but the lack of basic necessities and elevator waits were frustrating. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆”airbnb

“Loved that we had a beach front view with easy access to the beach. The place wasn't as clean or kept up as I would've liked. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets, gaps in the floor boards, cracked tile, and the facade of the cabinets is peeling off.”airbnb

“When I arrived I found a camera in the middle of the garage area, pointed straight @ the steps, watching ppl coming&going. I had a MAJOR problem w/this, it is a TOTAL invasion of privacy. I put a plastic bag over it and was told by itrips that I had to remove it, which meant the owners were watching, which is so creepy. I told them that it was an invasion of our privacy and that we did not want to be recorded, they very quickly msgd back & said no problem, the owners are going to turn it off. Then another message that said, they will leave it on, and you can leave it covered. I find this odd. There are 10 units in this complex & only 3 had cameras, but the others were pointed out from the middle of the garage, not in. The other issue we had was the door, you go up a significant set of stairs to get to the door, you cannot lock the door from the inside. Thank God we were watching, the 19 month old had pulled the lever down and was headed out the door towards the stairs.”airbnb
