iTrip Panama City Beach

iTrip Panama City Beach's guest rating of 4.46 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Treasure Island is a clean well kept facility. Nice large pool and pool deck. With four elevators we never needed to wait very long for one. Parking is convenient. Nice to have the market/grill at the pool deck.

### Review Upon arrival, I wasn’t expecting a property that was once condos to now be a rental community, but I kept an open mind and started to appreciate the beauty of the property. Pros: The 3 pools, especially the kiddie pool, were great for my 11-month-old twins. Food and ice cream downstairs were convenient, there was easy beach access, and the spacious balcony had a nice distant beach and strip view. The kitchen was semi-updated, and the cleaner did a good job and provided extra towels. Cons: The condo did not look like the pictures, and I expected a more renovated unit. The carpet was verydirty, lighting was dim, and the unit felt more like a party space than a family-friendly condo. There was no elevator directly from the parking deck, which made using a stroller difficult. The tub handle was hard to turn and got stuck, requiring 3 of us to turn it off. The faucet barely extended over the tub, making it difficult to fill my kids’ kiddie bathtub. Overall, the stay was okay.

We enjoyed our stay. The only negative things I can say is that the extra blankets in the closet for the sofa bed were dirty and the king mattress in the smaller room to the left was absolutely terrible. My inlaws had to purchase a air mattress and sleep on it. You could literally feel the box spring when you layed on the bed. All the other beds were great. The sofa bed was way better than the king mattress in that room ( the room to the left side when you pass the guest bathroom.) Also several plugs are not working and there are holes in the celing. Other than those things everything was good. I feel like I did pay way to much to have had those things be like they were. I feel like a few minor repairs and replaing that one bed would make this an almost perfect place.

DDuring our stay we encountered dozens of roaches. I reached out to property manager Andrea and she was extremely rude and unhelpful, she offered to have pest control come out to spray which I explained I have a small infant and would prefer a different option. She explained she would have “higher ups” reach out, which never happened even after multiple phone calls back. While we were getting ready to get eat lunch, pest control showed up which we weren’t notified of, we allowed him to spray the areas we had noticed roaches and the kitchen area despite not wanting this because we weren’t given another option. After he sprayed multiple other roaches appeared in the stove and other areas, due to this we were unable to use the kitchen area and cook food we had already purchased and we had to spend extra unplanned money to eat out . I’ve attached pictures of numerous roaches throughout the house. We were never offered to relocate and paying over $3,600 to live with roaches is absolutely in

The actual townhome that we stayed in was beautiful. The surroundings were beautiful, and there was a lot to do within their community. It was walking distance to the beach. The actual place itself was beautiful. However, our townhome was not clean. Sheets were staying with urine. Food was dried on pots and pans we had to scrape off to be able to use. There was a lot of dust and dirt built up and the return vent that you see as soon as you walk out of the bathroom. The rollaway bed that was supposed to accommodate one of our guest was broken so they had to sleep on the floor. The master bedroom TV did not work. I did contact customer support and they told me it was a homeowner issue, but did not provide me of any way to contact a homeowner to get a different bed or a TV. They told me there was nothing they could. Our floors had not been swept, there was food down in a coffee table that opens up into seating, was filled with food crumbs, and dirt.

Location is great. However, the city appears to have water and power issues. Both of which caused us to leave early due to the boil water notice put in place.

The house was beautiful. Very spacious and had multiple balconies which was nice. However, the "beds" were terrible. Felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The other guest that stayed with me said the same. For the price we paid those beds should've felt like CLOUDS. PLEASE upgrade your mattresses!! Overall we had a nice stay.

The beach access and gorgeous views are what made this a good choice for our trip! It was awesome to hear the water from the unit. The beach itself was so, so beautiful. The nicest sand! We used the beach chairs almost daily-definitely recommend taking advantage of that perk and getting them secured asap! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the unit had some fun beach and pool toys-we put those to good use. I didn’t love that the unit and patio were more run down than they looked in the photos, or that there were stains on some of the bedding. Nothing that was a deal breaker but worth noting. Also to give an idea, they left our family of 6 staying 6 nights one garbage bag and only remnants of toilet paper (not even one full roll). I get that it’s intended to be a start but I’d think a handful of garbage bags and a couple rolls of TP would still be reasonable for the size of group and duration of trip. Tons of kitchen utensils and whatnot if you’re wanting to cook there.

I’m so sad and frustrated with this place. This was a spring break getaway with ny daughter. First time in Panama City. After driving 8 hours we couldn’t shower on Friday because the shower was broken. I contacted the management office and they did send someone the next day. To make the story short we had people fixing the shower our whole stay. And for hours during the day. So uncomfortable, so frustrating, unacceptable. We asked to be relocated and no accommodations whatsoever. Very sad. This is the first time I leave a negative review and have such a bad experience. :(
