4.71
iTrip BeachesOf30a's guest rating of 4.71 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Great location in Bar Harbor to walk to dinner and breakfast just steps away was a fantastic way to start your day!”airbnb

“This apartment is SO centrally located to Bar Harbor. Easily walkable to all the different restaurants and shops in town. The free breakfast is a nice touch and a great way to start the day. Getting to the park is also quick and easy, about 10 minutes away. Very clean, organized, the kitchen has everything necessary if you wanted to prepare meals. The shower pressure is fantastic. The only thing to note which isn’t clear on the listing is that it’s not a true 1-bedroom, more of a studio separating the living room from the bedroom. The wall doesn’t reach the ceiling and therefore you can hear everything on either side.”airbnb

“Nice little cabin for a weekend away! Looks exactly like listing. Short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Would recommend!”airbnb

“We loved our stay, the house was clean and had everything we needed for the week. We did lose electricity for a day but the staff communicated promptly about the issue and resolved.”airbnb

“The place had an uncomfortable amount of mirrors covering every wall that wasn’t apparent in the booking photo. You could not tell until you were inside. Every wall, but two had mirrors, even the kitchen cabinets. Worse, I found 9 cockroaches in the first week during my stay I even found three more after I call them and they came and sprayed. When I reported it neither the host nor Airbnb offered a refund because I didn’t have photo evidence. I was too busy, flushing them down the toilet to think about getting photos. I ended up checking out early even though I knew it could cost me $2700 because the conditions were unbearable. I could not stay after seeing that many. The final straw was when there was one on the curtain in the bedroom-after that I had to leave. I booked it because I was drawn to the fact that it was two blocks from the beach. I’ve rented in Florida for three years. I’ve never seen bugs let alone cockroaches like that. Very disappointed in both Airbnb and the host”airbnb

“We had a wonderful stay at Mermaid Manor! The house exceeded our expectations. It was well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and elegant. The kitchen had everything we needed for prepping and cooking our meals. The house was quiet, well built and very spacious. We loved all the extra details. Parking is tight but because this house is on the end of the street, I felt we had our own little private area and there was lots of natural light. The ice maker wasn't working and we sent a message to our iTrip Beaches of 30A and she was very responsive. We opted not to have someone come and fix it for us but they would have quickly if we wanted them to. We just went out an bought a bag of ice. We also noticed some sugar ants the morning after we arrived but we were able to keep them under control by making sure we didn't leave any food or spills on the counters. Neighbors across the street were loud but not past 10pm. Highly Recommended!!!”airbnb

“Beautiful family home on 30a. Well equipped and only an easy walk away from the beach.”airbnb

“The $ we spent on this house didn’t equate to the experience we had. The beach access across from the neighborhood was so crowded, a lot of it is blocked off for private beaches. Be prepared to be there at 8 am. The toilets stayed clogged, they knew it was a problem because one of the bathrooms had 2 plungers. The dryer vent wasn’t hooked up, so the clothes stayed damp and the humidity was awful coming from the laundry room. There was no backyard area, where the houses surrounding had a nice outdoor setup, either a screened in porch or chairs/hang out area. The parking was the biggest issue. The house states it accommodates 12 people but once you book, they let you know you can’t have more than 2 vehicles, and you can park a few miles down the road at Walmart, because the overflow parking for the entire neighborhood is 3 spots. They towed the golf cart at 1 am out of our driveway. They claimed part of it was in the street and it was $400 for us to get it back. Wasted a whole day.”airbnb

“The home was as described and the pictures were representative of the property. Communication was great leading up to the stay and during our stay. Our one issue was we only had 1 fob for a house that sleeps 14 people. I called upon check in since a lost fob is $125. We were told prior to arrival we would have 2 fobs that would provide access to the beach and 2 pools. One fob was a major inconvenience. We had to plan our trips to the house together or call someone to come let us through the gate. We all had to go to either beach or pool. We could not split up since we could not gain access to two different places. I called every day except one and no concessions were ever made. The people were responsive to my texts (Carsten and Antoinette). Antoinette said she was contacting the management, no solutions were ever offered by management. I would not be writing this negative review had management stepped up and reached out to us.”airbnb
