Island Winds Condominium

“We really enjoyed our 16 night stay in unit 1002/10th floor. The condo was immaculate, beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds. The views were outstanding from all 3 lanais. Being right on the beach was so nice to have beach access when we wanted. Seeing both sunrise and sunsets were awesome. The south end of the island is so quiet and convenient to Publix for shopping. Fort Myers Beach is where we have been visiting in the spring for 20+ years as we raised our kids. Now we are enjoying with our grandkids! Lastly, Island Winds is a gated property which is nice for safety and security. All gate entrance accesses worked every time and property was well kept and landscaped perfectly with Florida Palm trees.”

“This apartment was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. The gated community was a big plus, my wife especially loved that feature. Having the beach right in the backyard made the experience even better, and the views were absolutely stunning. The apartment itself was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The office staff was friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for things to do in the area. There are also plenty of shops nearby, along with a fantastic Italian restaurant within walking distance. We would definitely book this apartment again!”

“Incredible from start to finish. We were absolutely amazed on how clean and tastefully decorated the condo was and how the surroundings felt so safe behind several gates/door codes. We have traveled throughout the country and this condo/location was by far our favorite. Inside the unit it was squeaky clean. Additionally they provided beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, just everything anyone could ask for spending time on the beach.”

“Everything about our two weeks stay was great until we checked out. The general manager, Tim Ryan, wanted to charge us almost $400 for cleaning fees. I just can't get into the whole thing but I've never been so insulted. We took great care of his condo. We were very respectful. Our ages are anywhere from 78 to 86. We weren't spring breakers that's for sure! We would NEVER rent from him again!!!”

“Great location. Very nice condo. Well appointed. Murphy bed worked great for a weekend visit by adult children. Great pool and hot tub. A bit of a walk to the ocean but well worth it. Note that traffic in FMB is horrible. But close to Publix so we are at home.”

“Everyone was very friendly and helpful. You should know that this is an older community, with restrictions. For example, you cannot play music at the pool, and the pool and hot tub close at dusk. No food at the pool either No speakers”

“Absolutely wonderful place on a stunning beach. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing for that chilly cold snap that came through. The building is wonderful and everyone was super friendly. We look forward to another stay.”
