“The place is overpriced for what you get. There were dead bugs on the floor, and Bathroom. The place could’ve been cleaner. We had to leave a day earlier than planned due to a hurricane hitting our properties in Pensacola. I asked for a portion of one night stay to be refunded and she refused. We found out a hurricane was coming on Tuesday. I let someone that works for her know the situation first thing Wednesday morning, I was told she wasn’t available. I called twice to talk to the host and Neither time was she available. I won’t be staying here again.”

“I thought this was a local host, but it was a vacation rental place. Every time we've come to Tybee, the host has been flexible with parking. This listing should be posted as a family rental only. A house that can sleep 10 and only gives 4 parking spaces is not ideal for a group of friends traveling from different states. The kitchen pots, pans, and utensils were dirty and had to be washed before using them. This is the 2nd Tybee Vacations rental home that has been dirty. Whoever they are using for cleaning should be changed. My group of ladies has been going for vacations on Tybee for 11 years, and this rental company has been the only one that gave us problems. We leave the places we stay cleaner than we arrived. I don't particularly care for having to clean from the previous rental people because the cleaning company isn't thorough. The location was nice and private, but did not match the pictures. I will not rent from Tybee Vacation rentals again.”

“Advertising was deceptive . The unit is not ocean front. It is a bay/river front!”

“Loved the place. Being so close to the beach was wonderful. My only grumble was that I needed to sign a secondary contract before being given access codes. IMO, if there is a secondary contract outside of AirBnB's standard, there should be a neon badge on the property so it can be factored into the decision-making process.”

“Extremely unhappy with being accused of leaving things in the room. We didn't. And even more unhappy with being accused of not returning the gate key fob threatened being charged....Will not be working with Jacqueline again and will not recommend anyone else does either!”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious, in a great location, and had plenty of room for my family. However, there are a few areas that need attention. The front entrance lighting was very dim, there was a wasp nest by the front door, and steps from the driveway to the entrance would improve safety. The couch and sleeper sofa pillows had visible stains, the sleeper sofa was missing pillow covers, some dishes in the cabinets were dirty, and there was dog waste left in the yard. I would recommend improving the cleaning and maintenance, as this home has great potential and could provide an even better guest experience.”

“The house is very close to the beach access, and seems to be a quiet part of Tybee. Short walk to the pier. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was spacious. Our main issue was that Tybee doesn’t allow dogs on the beach, and this was an important part of our trip. We had to search out other dog friendly places to take her. Also, the pet fee was not disclosed until after we reserved. It came in a later email, which was not our experience in past bookings with AirBNB. We would come back- if not for the dog “unfriendly “ beach.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is walkable to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Many locks did not work and we had issues with a toilet. We reached out at our check in time because the king bed frame was broken. The host said she would send a handy man but unfortunately no one ever came (our stay was 6 nights).”
