Ion Property Management
4.70Visit website
Ion Property Management's guest rating of 4.70 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“There were multiple issues with the yard and pool. I attempted to address these upon arrival and management was slow to respond. Issue was not corrected until halfway into the stay. Home was nice, communication was terrible”airbnb

“The house itself has potential. I can tell whoever did work to the house did a good job and it is cute. However the home does not match all of the advertise photos so it's a bit deceiving. The house did meet our needs and the AC worked really great. I think the cleaning needs to be stepped up and is not worth any kind of cleaning charge we may have acquired. There were hair ties and hair left in the bathrooms. There was pubic and body hair left on the sheets which concerned me that the sheets had not been changed. This prompted us to at least change the sheets on our children's bed so I could ensure hopefully they had clean beds. The trash seems to be an ongoing issue given the fact that there were reviews from last August stating the trash build up. I have photos showing all of the trash build up is still a current problem. Disgusting. Overall the house met our needs but I feel like it was a rip off and wasn't as clean and put together as it should be...”airbnb

“This house is close to downtown Gilbert only 12 mins away. Walking into the home it was nice and clutter free. The beds were comfortable and nice to sleep on. We did like how there were extra fans in all the rooms. As you look at things around the house it needs some maintenance. The bar area outside needs to be redone. The chairs outside are falling apart, and the TV outside has black spot on them. The dryer sounds like it’s on its last leg. The grills outside haven’t been cleaned in a long time, we wanted to grill but nothing there to clean the grill with and didn’t want to start a grease fire. The benches at the dining table need to be replaced, they’re not comfortable to sit on as you sink into them. You can tell the house is just a rental property and not someone’s actual home. Otherwise, the house was a good price and close to downtown Gilbert were some really good restaurants to eat at.”airbnb

“The backyard was great! The pool was the perfect size. There was a nice grass area and outdoor grill area that was perfect for entertaining for our small gathering that we had there. The house was just right for the six of us. Beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was great! I felt like the management service was constantly emailing and telling me that they would charge me if we did literally anything wrong so that was a little unnerving at times. Some of the toiletries like the hand soaps, shampoo and body wash were pretty terrible. The trash cans were completely overflowing when we got there so we had nowhere to put our trash. Overall, the house itself was perfect for our needs and we had a great time.”airbnb

“Everything started out great, but our experience went downhill once we went to bed. We were disappointed to find a significant amount of body hair all over the master bed sheets. When we tried to wash them, the washing machine began shaking so violently that it rocked the entire house, which was honestly pretty alarming. The next day, we discovered the refrigerator wasn't cooling properly (though the freezer worked fine), so I’d advise future guests not to leave perishables in there. On a positive note, while the backyard grass was initially overgrown, someone did come to trim it halfway through our stay. With better property maintenance and a deeper clean, this could be a wonderful place to stay.”airbnb

“Find an alternative if looking for a spot for your group. Property has wear and tear as expected from a management group vs owner. We had issues with plumbing unfortunately. Showers had backed up with sewage - were unusable for part of our stay. Water pressure was also an issue - just lacks basic upkeep. Would suggest alternatives based on price.”airbnb

“This was my first Airbnb experience, and it was disappointing. While the interior looked similar to the photos, the exterior was not clean, with overgrown vegetation blocking the entrance. Upon arrival, there was paint splattered across the kitchen floors, cabinets, countertops, and even the sink, making the kitchen unusable. Paint was also in the master bedroom. I reported it but received no response, so I had to buy cleaning supplies myself. The sheets didn’t seem clean, a bathroom light flickered, and a random duffle bag was left in the closet. There was an overwhelming scent from multiple air fresheners. The property had only one TV, and streaming issues limited its use. Soap products were unlabeled, which is concerning for sensitive skin. Most alarming, we returned one evening to find the front door unlocked and open after securing it. This felt unsafe. I received a partial refund with supports help, I believe a full refund was warranted. Overall, a very poor first experience”airbnb

“Very rough stay. Originally booked 19 nights, had to leave after the first. Pest poison and bates were scattered throughout the home, making it unsafe for our two dogs and toddler. While Ion’s team was fairly responsive, we found the property poorly maintained. There was old food and garbage in the garage, broken furniture in the home, and the overall quality was very poor. Everything in the home (appliances, tables, chairs) was extremely cheap, showing serious ware and tear. The table was made of particle board and warped. The property would be suitable for adults looking for an affordable home base during a busy weekend. It was clean and had the bare minimum. Not kid friendly or suitable for longer stays, at least not for our family.”airbnb

“ION sent me to a third party site to get the code and entrance instructions. We were traveling and didn't have good internet so it was a wasted step. Just message the code. I don't want another company having info to market to. Interior is cute and clean. Exterior was full of weeds and unkept with broken sprinklers and lights. Hadn't been landscaped in months. Either no one stays here, or they just don't care. The cleaners could have easily said something to management. House looks terrible in the clean neighborhood. I bet everyone hates this house who lives there. Some weeds were 4' tall. Shower is weak. Soft water is inop. Shower soap is cheap and doesn't suds up at all. Towels smelled and were super cheap. No tissues in the entire place. If you are going to replicate a hotel stay and compete with that, you have to up your game. This place was a disappointment and the poorest airbnb we have ever stayed at.”airbnb

“The place was as pictured - but closer review showed wear and tear. Area is nice and convenient next to a grocery store and restaurants of Old Town. House is spacious. There was black mold on the ceiling of the master shower and then a smell that developed and persisted after night 2. Also the fan over the stove made a strange noise and the light was broken. These can all be fixed, and just wished they were for our stay.”airbnb
