“Had an amazing time at the Chalet. The outdoors scenery was spectacular. Very private area, with lots to do, walking trails, swimming, golfing. The inside of the Chalet was picturesque. As a family of 5, everyone was comfortable. Would highly recommend visiting.”

“Nice house, but needed repairs. Two exterior doors would not lock. This was a problem because we had two toddlers. Broken fixtures (toilet paper holder, burned out bulbs, etc) , Broken Kayaks, DIRTY cooking pans in cabinets and not ready when we checked-in. That said great location for our large family.”

“Overall the cabin was well maintained and a nice property. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils and dishes. The outside lighting was nice in the dark too. The biggest issue was missing items. There were no towels besides lake towels; we finally found the bath towels left in the dryer and still damp on our last night. There was also a comforter waded up in the loft next to the bed when we arrived; not sure if it was used or what. Also missing dish soap and paper towels. There wasn’t extra toilet paper and only 2 spare trash bags. Overall it was still a nice stay and we just purchased missing items.”

“Book elsewhere! We tried to make the best of our stay each since we all travelled to meet at the cabin to celebrate a birthday. There were dead bugs all over the porch not swept up. Also found cockroaches inside. The temp inside was 78 plus since there are large windows without any blinds or drapes so the home couldn’t properly cool. The fridge was turned on shortly before we arrived, so it didn’t cool any of our groceries/medication. We ended up having to buy a cooler to place our things. We noticed the place was very dirty and dusty. The fans provided were caked with dust and blowing onto the bedding. The couches looked as if it was never vacuumed and contained crumbs, trash, dust, dirt etc. The upstairs bunks were cheaply made and wobbly. There were boards left out as well. The sofa bed was not usable so they had an air mattress instead. We contacted the host for assistance but they made excuses and dropped off two fans. The host was not helpful or considerate to our concerns.”

“Our stay was very disappointing due to the property's poor condition. Upon arrival, the overgrown lawn gave an immediate impression of neglect. Inside, we found dirty dishes in the cabinets, pet hair throughout the home, and evidence that cleaning had not been completed properly. The kitchen had roaches, ants, and other insects, creating an unsanitary environment. Several advertised amenities were damaged, including broken bar stools, a broken outdoor umbrella, and unsafe bunk beds. The bunk bed area also contained debris from previous guests, including chip bags, game pieces, and fingernails. The property advertised fire pits, but no firewood was provided or mentioned beforehand. The combination of pest issues, cleanliness concerns, broken furniture, and lack of maintenance significantly impacted our stay.
