“House was very clean, floor’s a little un level but not a deal breaker, the location was great, very quit location and close to what we needed. Wish more items like garbage bags, coffee cups pot holders and a broom would have been nice”

“Overall great experience. The listing indicated laundry facilities which it had however it would have been helpful to know it was coin operated. Traveled light with the intention of doing laundry but could not find anywhere to get change. Ended up just going to a laundromat. The train noise was very loud during the middle of the night.”

“Comfortable stay. Air-conditioners were very helpful. Had to improvise at times as not enough bowls for our family of 4, and limited cooking pans / trays, but was able to make it work.”

“My biggest gripe is the fact the bed linens from the previous guest were still on the bed, and stained as well. The host response time was quick in getting the issue resolved but it was a bad first impression. Also there seems to be a roach infestation in the kitchen that becomes obvious during nighttime hours. Location was convenient for work.”

“Future guests - beware. I had such a terrible experience that i ended up staying elsewhere. Shafiq had listed the property as "entire place" but told us upon arrival he would be staying in the house with us. He showed me his room, which was right off the kitchen and main living area. When I questioned this, he became rude and threatening. We had a group of 7 adults who all felt unsafe during this conversation. We ultimately decided to get hotel rooms. Later, he lied about this when I tried to resolve the issue with Air BNB. The home itself seemed okay, but had a strange smell. It is located in a sketchy neighborhood. I witnessed an unhoused man injecting drugs a few blocks from the property. Please, avoid this host. It was the most unpleasant, frightening interactions I have ever had.”

“This is not a house. The last paragraph of the description says it is two apartments. What is implied by calling it a house, is that there are ways to share the space. There isn't. Also, one of the beds was in the living room. The floors upstairs are not level. The stairs to the upstairs are literally 45 degrees and not to code and the balcony railing is unsafe. The downstairs, while larger had a tiny bathroom. Part of Airbnb is being able to cook. There were no pots upstairs. Each unit is ok, and Shafiq tries, but this should have never been advertised as a house that could accommodate 13, ever.”
