“Nice Location”

“We have been coming to the island for 9 years and I have never had a house with so many issues Mold in washer and dishwasher They had someone come clean it and the first load of laundry was all bleached out from the cleaner they used I even ran a cleaning cycle before I did laundry Air conditioner broke we fixed the problem ourselves because we were not given an after hours number there was wall damage to the exterior bathroom wall and it got worse every time you took a shower They did not explain that the bedrooms where connected and the main hallway bedroom door did not open or close properly so the kids room door was always open so they would have to open the bathroom door just for privacy when changing The whole house smelled like mold from day one till the day we left.”

“"I cannot recommend this stay due to major maintenance issues and a hostile host response. During our stay, the oven and microwave were broken, the yard was overgrown with weeds, and the lawn furniture was completely unusable. Most concerning was the air conditioner, which emitted a strong fishy smell (a serious electrical hazard) before failing entirely. The bedroom TV also did not work. When we raised these valid concerns, the host's response was to evict us rather than address the repairs. I am grateful to Airbnb Support, who was incredibly helpful in verifying these issues and processing a refund for us. I would strongly advise future guests to avoid this listing due to the lack of maintenance and the host's retaliatory behavior."”
