Humming Host

“This was a wonderful place to stay and extremely walkable. Took us 15-20 minutes to get most places, including Broadway. Then we used Uber/Lyft for further away activities like the Grand Ol Opry. The train runs next to the apartment complex, but I didn’t personally find it bothersome, and the host has earplugs available in the drawer by the bed. Some reviews mentioned concern over being next to a Salvation Army or some recovery addicts housing. We walked by this during the day and night and never had any problems with people approaching us or making us feel uncomfortable. Pool access was great for the warm days, with cabanas to shield from the sun. Easy to access using Latch app. Coffee and creamer provided. 24 hour market with water and other beverages available. Beautiful artwork and decorations. Highly recommend!”

“Very nice place, in a convenient quiet location. Parking was easy and plentiful. Great location relative to the elevator. Large selection of restaurants and fast food near by. Perfectly fit all of our needs. Melissa provided clear concise instructions every step along the way. Really could not have asked for anything more. Should we find ourselves in need of a place to stay in the area again, this without a doubt will be our first choice.”

There was no reason for me to have reached out, everything was great, but Melissa kept in touch in the middle of my stay anyway. Just to see if everything was good and if I needed anything. “No complaints about honesty. This listing is upfront about what it is. But what it is, is the slow death of what made Airbnb worth using. Corporate operators have flooded the platform, and staying in one of their units is a reminder of everything that’s been lost. There’s no host who knows the neighborhood, no personal touches, no sense that your comfort was a consideration beyond the basics. Just a $165 cleaning fee, a checkout checklist, and a property managed entirely at arm’s length. The bed was the worst I’ve slept in at any accommodation. The whole experience felt like a hotel stripped of every hotel perk — no housekeeping, no front desk, no loyalty points. Book here if you must. But know that every booking like this is a vote for an Airbnb that’s indistinguishable from any other mid-tier hospitality brand.”
