“Everything was perfect . Except one compliant we have is WiFi was not working for all 2 days . This impacted a lot because we had no communication with outside world”

“After Isaias kicked us out of Destin , we traded the beach for the lake and I’m glad we did. The area is beautiful. The cabin was perfect. Clean and we had everything we needed. Morning coffee on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake. Evening, cooking on the grill, listening to football and enjoying the view from the deck. We can’t wait to come back.”

“It is a nice quiet place. Not sure there is fish in that pond but it was very hot outside. If you intend to cook, bring pots and pans. There are a couple. The lights on the porch flickered non stop even when we unscrewed the bulbs. Messaged but no response. Only has 1 TV. The place was clean and we enjoyed our vacation.”

“TV didn’t work first night. Air conditioning was poor. Furniture inside was uncomfortable they had outdoor patio furniture inside. Beds were uncomfortable. Over priced for what we got”

“Upon arrival we noticed the pics didn't match. We thought it was a big cabin w/ private deck. Arrived to essentially a shed that shared balconies that faced directly into our shed w/no curtains for privacy from neighbors. Ant invasion is an understatement, kitchen/cabinets taken over all our food had to be thrown away. He "gave us a can of raid" though. TV didnt work, handed me a new roku to set up but wouldnt connect to wifi. Hot water wouldn't work, had me mess with breaker & another source, still didnt work. I was a handyman on my vacation, love that for me! While sitting on the couch my mother got bit 6 times in private area by unknown pest that swelled. While leaving store on the way there my elderly mother placed the push start keys on top of the car so they were lost en route, he knew we were stuck once we got there. Said he would credit one night if we signed agreement not to leave bad review. Denied to my face the inaccurate pics. No attempt to resolve any complaints. FRAUD!”

“We arrived after a storm and there was no power. Couldn’t get a response of an ETA for restoration of power. There was very limited parking. All the cabins are super close together. Individuals in the other cabins were blasting music and yelling. We immediately left and asked for a refund but were denied. Very poor communication and would not recommend.”

“Nice quiet peaceful place to stay. We wish there were blinds or curtains on all doors and windows. The response time from the host was not great. We didn’t get to use boats and the lock was not actually working right. We didn’t hear back from the host for a couple days. We just didn’t lock the door and never got to use the boats because it’s not clear how you rent them. It says first come first serve but it also says there is a fee but there’s no where to pay or talk to anyone to get instructions. We were also told there were paddle boats, which were not there and it looked like there were only 2 working oars for like 4 different boats. Outdoors furniture was made of cloth and couldn’t be used because it rained before we got there.”

“For the most part we enjoyed our stay. The location of the place is beautiful on the lake and close enough to Hot Springs. Beds were comfortable and a good size for a small family. Although, there was an old used prescription pill bottle left in the bathroom upon arrival along with pony tails on the loft railing. No dish rack to dry dishes although they ask you clean them before leaving. A few dishes seemed dirty so I washed them all before using. My biggest complaint is there are NO curtains or blinds on the giant windows and back door. We could see in all the other cabins and they could see in ours. With it being such a small space already - not having privacy to change for even just relax in kitchen or living room area is a big deal for us. I was messaged multiple times before the last day and before even leaving from my stay to leave a 5 star review and if not 5 stars than to message privately only and not be honest with my review on here. Which is against Airbnb policy…”
