“We had a wonderful stay at Anakeesta Lookout! The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The Irby family were great hosts — thoughtful, communicative, and clearly take pride in their property. We did have a bit of unexpected wildlife excitement — bears paid us a visit and unfortunately caused some damage to my husband's truck. While that was stressful in the moment, it's part of the nature experience in the Smokies, and the hosts were gracious about it. Overall, a fantastic getaway. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain retreat!”

“We had such a wonderful stay here! The scenery from the back porch was absolutely breathtaking. Morning coffee in the rocking chairs came with the most beautiful, unobstructed mountain top view. The home was spotless, so thoughtfully stocked, and clearly very well cared for. As a family with young kids, we especially appreciated the covered carport, which made loading and unloading so much easier (especially in rainy weather!) We’d happily stay here again. Thanks!”

“Hostimo’s house was beautiful and exactly as pictured! The space was perfect for our group of 8. The beds were comfy. We loved the big dining table and large living room space. It was easy to find the house and had plenty of parking. We did have an issue at check in, but the hosts were very quick to respond and fix the situation. We would absolutely return!”

“This cabin was beautiful. There are many cabins in the same section just like it so please pay attention to the name of your specific cabin. There was a heavy presence of ants in the restroom that crawled all over our toothbrushes. The fireplace outside near the Jacuzzi does not work. The Netflix account is in Spanish and not able to change it. If you are an African-American, I would recommend a different town as this one was not so welcoming and made us very uncomfortable and concerned for our safety. Near the cabin, there was construction going on in May 2026 that made it a tad bit noisy. It went on until about 7 PM each day. Upon arrival noted a very strong presence of cleaning products, which eventually turned into the smell of mildew. However, the cabin was gorgeous. The hot tub could stand to have a bigger faucet, but was nice. It just took longer to fill it. The shower could be a bit bigger to accommodate the two showerheads if you are very particular like me read this review.”
