“My family and I stayed here for the summer while I was receiving treatment at Johns Hopkins. We appreciated how conveniently located it was to everything and spacious. I plan to return for my next procedure at JH.”

“Nice home with a wonderful small park to walk around in directly off the backyard. The home is very close to downtown Towson. Our toddler enjoyed their stay and there wasn't too much clutter or anything excessive to babyproof. The floor was dirty when we arrived, but after vacuuming we felt right at home.”

“This review is not about the listing but about the host Maxon, I hope you never have to deal with them. I made a booking with another listing of his, they wrote back that it was not available but that he had another place near by he could put is in. The address was only shown after I paid. Once I saw the address I immediately wrote to Maxon saying that it was too far from where I needed to be for work, please refund, all good, I will find another spot. He refused to refund even though I clearly didn't keep someone from making this booking, it wasn't something that had been booked for weeks and I changed last minute. I didn't go to the listing and am trying to get my money back from Airbnb still but overall very poor ethics from Maxon. Good chance I won't be able to get my money back which is a bummer, but if you have the chance to avoid doing business with Maxon I would.”

“House needs major repairs. Maxon canceled our original Airbnb in Towson and offered us this house as a backup. Unfortunately, the house is infested with mice, and their droppings are on the sheets, floors, and kitchen. There’s also black mold in the bathrooms and showers, and the heat doesn’t work on the main level of the house. Maxon didn’t offer any resolution or a full refund. I would only ever stay in this house after it has major work done. Otherwise, stay away. We had to book 10 guests into hotels at a much higher and unexpected cost.”

“We booked this place for a 10-day family stay mainly because of its convenient location, which is definitely a plus. The house is spacious, but unfortunately the overall quality and upkeep were quite poor. Most doors did not have proper locks and instead had makeshift hook-and-hole arrangements, which felt unsafe. There was no working porch light; although the owner mentioned a switch inside, we were unable to find or operate it despite trying all switches. The basement was excessively cold, and many things in the house felt flimsy, including the stairs. The bedsheets were dusty, and there was a pile of clothes left in one of the downstairs bedrooms when we arrived. Supplies were also very limited for a 10-day stay, which caused inconvenience. While the location is good, the quality, cleanliness, and maintenance of the house need significant improvement.”
