The home was in a great location but there were major issues with the shower. Host and home sent people out but they didn’t fix the issue during our stay. The shower wasn’t fixed and we couldn’t get the water off and couldn’t get a hold of anyone from Host and Home. They definitely need to fix that.

loved the condo, the location, the furnishings and the hosts. was only disappointed with the bunk bed situation. was described as trundle, full on bottom and twin on top. the trundle didnt have a mattress and its a twin/twin bunk. no full on the bottom. it’s not a bunkroom. its in the same room with a king. the host offered a roll away twin but there really wasnt room to place it anywhere. the light switches were tricky. not a fan of carpet at the beach. however, there was plenty of paper products, beach gear, and tvs everywhere! the pool and beach were just steps away. we would for sure stay here again. we’d just do what we did this time and rearrange sleeping quarters.

We had a good visit at this home. It fit our family of eight (to include a baby) perfectly. The home was clean, spacious, and well supplied with all the essentials we needed for our family vacation.

The villa was clean and a great walkable location. It was also near a trolly stop to help get to spots like harbor town that are a little farther. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality dishes and cookware.

The condo was fine, the location was fine, the host company was fine- the individual host who communicated with us was not. The listing was vague on the available beach items, so we inquired. I asked how many beach chairs and if a wagon or beach toys were available. Etc The host responded with a link that did not include any intel on the items. We could have flown w expiring miles, instead we packed 4 chairs, towels, a wagon, and drove 2k miles. We showed up and the unit had all the same items we asked about. They called us to discuss, but we were not interested in wasting more vacation time, I do not recommend this management company.

Was listed as 4 bedroom, only set up as a 3 bedroom. Did not sleep 10 as trundle bed was absent from bunk beds that were placed into lower bedroom. Photos did not match the space. The fourth "bedroom" was open to upstairs so any light or sound upstairs was disruptive downstairs. Also right across from front door which makes a lot of excessive noise after exit or entry and contains the main exit to the pool or beach so we could not access outdoors or make any noise once child in this room was put to bed. Lost water pressure the day before our departure and there was no real attempt to fix this despite not being able to shower or easily wash dishes/do laundry. Pool is nice but was shut down for a day. Beach access is nice/close and a little less crowded than surrounding areas. Inside was clean but cluttered downstairs with rearranged furniture. Was initially hard to get response from host upon check in. Casey did try to make amends- received a small refund and an apology wine/gift card.

Not worth the price. The listing claimed the property was "steps away" from the beach, but you actually have to walk 0.3 miles first before it is steps away. The front yard, backyard, grill, and all bedroom patio furniture were completely dirty. Because the entire outdoor space was uncleaned, we never used any of the furniture. Additionally, the living room bathroom door is not easily accessible. They need to thoroughly clean everything before renting to guests.

The rental was wonderful! Clean, well furnished, spacious and great location! However, there was an incident that cast a shadow on our stay. On our last night we decided to eat dinner in the rental and relax before our trip home. On Saturday, July 11th at about 7pm, there was a knock on the door. A lady, holding a clip board, interrupted our dinner and told us that “we were parked wrong”. While I was trying to rest, she told me to come to the parking lot. She pointed at our car and said “see”. I didn’t know what she was talking about. Then she pointed at the left front tire which was “touching” the white line. She went on to threaten us several times with a “ticket”. I told her that the space was small, but the vehicles on both sides of us were also on the line. She kept threatening us. I asked if she worked for Host and Home, she said no, but “she was not just a renter, she lived there!” After a while, I left and went back to the room. This left a bad taste in our mouths!

We have been vacationing in Hilton Head since 2012 and were excited for this trip. Instead, this was the most disappointing rental we’ve ever experienced. The listing stated the AC could be set to 70°, yet the house stayed at 86, 84, 83, 79, and 76—it never reached 70. We paid a premium price for one week and couldn’t even be comfortable inside the home. We contacted the rental company almost daily and were given excuses, the runaround, and condescending responses, as though we didn’t understand southern heat or how air conditioning works. HVAC confirmed it was a simple fix and the home should cool to 70 within hours. It never did. We were sweating while getting dressed for dinner and for our family photo shoot and had to keep fans blowing directly on us just to tolerate being inside. A vacation rental should provide basic comfort. This one did not. We will never rent this home again.

This house is very big and spacious. Our family felt like we could have privacy when we needed and had space to gather when we wanted. The pictures are not quite up to date, as things have aged, discolored, and warped a little over time. There was a big sticky spot on the counter that hadn't been cleaned. There was also hair and dust in the restrooms. The living room could use more seating due to how many guests the home accommodates. There were not enough toiletries to get us through even half of the week. We had to buy toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, and paper towels. For the price we paid, we expected to have basic amenities provided for the duration of our stay. The house is located right next to a very busy street. You have to cross that street to get to the path that leads to the beach. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would generally recommend it to others.
