“Nice house close to town and the university with a lovely breakfast spot around the corner. We had a very quick stay but it worked well for move in weekend.”

“Pros: The living room and the bathrooms were clean. The location was easy to find. Doug was responsive and helpful. The area was quiet. Internet connection works well. The beds were comfortable. Cons: The dining area was dirty. The floor has large black stains. The chairs were some mismatch chairs and not clean. We couldn't eat there. The water didn't flow well. If you are using the water in the kitchen, someone can't take a shower as the water will drip or literally stop. The towels were dirty with large stains on them. We found more towels in the dryer with more stains. They listed 8 beds, when there were only 7 beds. Doug was helpful by providing an air mattress. No trash bags found in the trash cans. The place was fairly clean. I told Doug about most of these issues, he said he will contact the cleaning team. Hopefully they get new towels and clean the place better. Overall, if they fix these issues, it will be a nice place to stay.”

“Doug’s place was clean and well equipped. Easy to walk to Notre Dame. Listings stated that there was a queen and full on the main floor but there was actually a queen and twin. It wasn’t ideal for our group.”

“Doug was awful to work with. He made stmts over the phone to me that were not only condescending but also inappropriate & rude. His Airbnb was a dump which was why I moved out. The shower rod fell down in 30sec after I got there; I had a package stolen that was delivered by Amazon. I could continue on with more specifics.”

“The property condition and furnishings were bad, especially given that we were paying a $1,000 per night for a Thursday-Monday stay. I suspect the exterior hadn't been cleaned in 6 months - Grass was 1-2 feet tall; Leaves, branches, and trash were left in the yard from the Fall. The driveway is crumbling. Two of 3 garbage cans were left half filled with water and misc. floating trash. To make matters worse, the landscapers randomly showed up on Saturday morning at 8:30 AM so we couldn't sleep in. It needed to be done before we arrived! The inside smelled terribly musty. The kitchen and bathrooms were largely "surface cleaned" but need a thorough cleaning. Paint is tired in much of the house. Furnishings are tired or dirty. Dusty molding/woodwork throughout the house. Some of the blinds were broken. The Host performed his required responsibilities but didn't address any additional requests. Worst value/rental I have had in 35 years of travel.”

“Cheap uncomfortable furniture. Had to buy a chair from goodwill to have a place to sit in the living room. Shame on the property owners.”
