“Good place”

“The room itself was spacious and clean. Had all the essentials. Hosts were polite and quick to answer questions. The parking lot did have a no solicitors + tow away sign which was concerning since my car wasn't registered to the lot, but it was fine. It was a nice big lot, plenty of room to park. It was a bit difficult to get into the building since there were three different padded locks on the outside door and I didn't know which was the correct to input the code, similar with the room itself. My real issue lies with what the hosts can't control, that being the neighbors. The building and room consistently reeked of weed. The upstairs neighbors were up all night, and you can hear every heavy footstep, making it impossible to sleep. The neighbors next door had the tv volume all the way up through the night, as well as would yell on the phone. There's a dog which will bark in the early hours of the morning. It wasn't a pleasant time, which is unfortunate because it's a lovely space.”

“I enjoyed my stay. Overall the house was very nice and good place to stay. The only issues had were the gaming systems not working and a neighbor blocked the driveway. But overall we all had a great time.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The place is full of history and is in beautiful condition. I wish they would make you aware of the $40 fee or $400 deposit that happens in a 3rd party app. Maybe I missed a memo somewhere but was surprised there is an additional fee / deposit on top of what you pay on air bnb. The diner next door is very good and would highly recommend it. Overall a great place to stay.”

“This property was booked for one reason. A father and son fishing trip. Before booking I messaged host to inquire the properties accessibility to fishing since it was lakefront. The host stated, "fishing is very easily accessible because the property is right on the lake". So, I booked it and the excitement began for me and my son. When we arrived at the property we looked at the lake accessibility first thing only to be extremely disappointed.The lake was unusable due to extreme vegetation. Within 10 minutes of arrival I messaged the host explaining our concerns about the lake. The host was very UNHELPFUL and really didn't care. I asked for a refund and was told no, the vegetation was not their fault.The vegetation was not new, it was there when I asked her initially before booking.Long story short, Airbnb had to step in and help me with the deceiving description and the failure to communicate the true property description(you won't be able to use lake/fish, only look at it). HORRIBLE”

“Upon arrival we found the house not in what I would consider clean condition. The floors were mopped but not sweep as you could feel the dirt as you walked across the floors barefoot. We had to wipe black fingerprints and dirt from the kitchen cabinets. In the master bedroom we found a half eaten nutter butter bar. We had to clean back of toilet behind seat. In the third bedroom we found a used blue washcloth under the pillows. The grill was filthy and had to be cleaned before we could use it. Shortly after we arrived I received an E-mail informing me that there were decibel meters outside and could be fined $500.00 if we were noisy and there was a $250.00 fee for cleaning the hot tub if dirty. Was not worried about noise as we were all in bed by 10:30 but immediately looked in hot tub and found dirt all around bottom and lighter black dirt in seating areas. Replied back with pics of hot tub and asked for it to be cleaned so that we could use it as we were golfing everyday.”
