“We had a wonderful stay here. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, and the location made it easy to enjoy everything nearby. Communication from the host was excellent throughout the stay: responsive, helpful, and welcoming. We especially appreciated how easy the check-in process was and how well-equipped the space felt for a relaxing Hawaii getaway. Overall, a great experience, and we’d absolutely stay here again.”airbnb

“Absolutely stunning view of Black Rock/the Ocean from your bed & also the living room couch. Not to mention the very large lanai with 3 loungers. The hotel room was pleasantly clean. It looks like they had just carpet vacuumed the floors, it had absolutely no bad smell and no bugs. I was worried because of all the carpet but it was a very clean room and the hotel grounds are very well kept and modernized. ! Also it’s literally connected to Whalers Village it could not be more convenient. Pool is lackluster if you have kids, but very nice and clean. The host was so kind, responsive, and anything we needed was accommodated quickly. They went above and beyond! Great value for the price!”airbnb

“We truly enjoyed our stay. The location and amenities are excellent—the hotel is right next to Whalers Village with plenty of options, and very close to Black Rock, where you can see turtles. The room was spacious, and the mattress was very comfortable, which was a big plus for me. On the downside, the AC did not cool sufficiently, the microwave was not working, and unfortunately there were cockroaches and other bugs. There was also a strong smell of insect spray in the closet upon arrival. We would love to return if proper pest control is addressed.”airbnb

“We were disappointed after paying so much for this place. We wanted extra blankets and were told that there were no extra blankets in the entire place (which is 2 very large buildings). After asking 4 times, they found blankets for us. The master bedroom frame creaked every time. you moved, there were termites, the wifi NEVER worked, our ice maker (in the fridge) was broken, there were no water dispensers other than lobby and work out room so inconvenient. I would have expected better for the $ we paid.”airbnb
