“Our stay was great. You cannot beat the location! For the price, I'd expect a few upgrades, such as better cookware, including some containers with lids and new mattresses. The furniture is worn but does the job. But the layout and balcony are great - we enjoyed our stay!”

“Love staying at these canal houses. Great to have access to the boat dock. Perfect location. 7 min walk to main road, water park and about 10 to the beach/boardwalk. Clean and comfortable house. 26th year in ocmd and will be back again soon. Would stay here again.”

“I was pretty excited to find a place with such minimal rules, but I was disappointed after booking. Once I had already paid in full, the host informed me that there was an additional linen fee. This should have been clearly disclosed before payment, so I definitely felt blindsided by the extra charge. The check-in process was quick, and I appreciated being able to check in early. However, during both nights of our stay, we couldn’t get the balcony light to turn on. When I reached out to the host, they said they weren’t familiar with the layout of the house and couldn’t provide instructions, which wasn’t very helpful. There was quite a bit of sand on the couches, although that’s somewhat understandable given the property’s proximity to the beach. The neighbors also seemed to keep a close watch on guests, which made us feel a little uncomfortable. Additionally, only one trash bag was provided, with no extras available. “We had a wonderful stay overall. The location was absolutely beautiful! being right on the beach was exactly what we were looking for. The property was clean, comfortable, and made for a relaxing beach getaway. The only reason i’m giving 4 stars is because the listing information was a bit inaccurate. The amenities stated that there was a washer and dryer available, but there was neither on the property during our stay. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beachfront stay. Just make sure to confirm the listed amenities beforehand. Will be booking again next summer!!”

“The house is beautiful and so is the surrounding location. House feels very cozy and inviting. Backyard/pool area is cute and exactly what is need to unwind and relax. The poolside bar is a great addition to the house. Rental agency did not answer some of our questions accurately. I asked if the unit had a grill. Management team said no. In the words of Maury Povich "that was a lie". There is an old but usable grill. I suggest use aluminum foil, since the grate is rusty. Also, I was told to bring your linens, blankets, pillows, paper products and towels. The unit has towel, blankets, pillows, and paper product. Not sure if it's from the previous guest. it looks to me as it came with the house. I had a neighbor complain to my family about loud music. Apparently OCMD does not allow music past 10pm. The house rules are vague at best. It only stated that there was a noice ordinance and never stated time or how loud. It simply stated a statue from the health department as a guide line”

“Very nice place to stay! Super clean and well kept however I had a very rude welcoming! The lady checking us in was very informative and nice but another worker randomly got up and threatened us at check in saying “I’m only gonna tell you this once I don’t know how you got in without a background check and everything but if I get one noise complaint I will have you guys kicked out and you will not get your money back”. It’s not at all my fault there was no background check we paid and booked through Airbnb. It was highly unprofessional I guess three 24 year old girls scared her. She wasn’t even the one helping us and she did not have to attack us! We are young but we are not dumb. I felt very disrespected and will not be staying here again. Don’t want to bash the place over one incident knowing it would be a nice place for other people. However I refuse to have a voice raised at me unprovoked and to be threatened like that ever again! If I didn’t already pay I would have went elsewhere”

“The location of this hotel is beautiful. It is on the quiet end of the boardwalk but still only a short walk to all the restaurants and stores. While booking through Airbnb it was unclear that I was also booking through a third party hotel. They took down my information incorrectly (even though I already gave all my info to Airbnb) therefore I never received any of the emails they were sending me to let me know I had to check in at an entirely different location. I tried calling multiple times to get ahold of someone (apparently you need to call the maintenance line) to be told that you had to go to a different location three miles away to get the code to unlock the door. Since I wasn't receiving their emails, I also didn't realize that no sheets, pillowcases, towels, hand towels, or paper towels are included with the rental. It took days to finally be able to speak with someone.”

“Property was very nice and clean. Opposite can be said for rhe unit its self. The whole place was dirty and dusty and the bathrooms were just nasty. Kitchen was dirty and for not allowing pets there was quiet a bit of pet hair. My girlfriend ended up cleaning the whole place during our 2 night stay. For the amount that is charged for service. Cleaning being one of the services. It doesn't make it worth the while.”
